Job Description:

• Conduct system development and various implementation activities for public facing IT system
• Perform unit test, integration and various system testing and troubleshooting activities
• Provide IT advisory to end users, including planning and acceptance testing of IT system
• Prepare test plan, specifications, guidelines and system documentation for IT system
• Take up other IT system works as assigned by the supervisors

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma in Computing or related subjects
• At least 3 years in application development
• Strong technical knowledge in various development tools/environments including web/application server, application programming, web application framework, relational database management system, cloud infrastructure, etc.
• Hands-on experience in development of web-based application systems C# and reporting tools such as Crytsal Report
• Good in spoken and written communication skill
• Preferably with application development experience on Low-Code development platform

• Support the IT Innovation Lab in Schools Programme

• Provide technical support in developing solutions to facilitate the checking of school/financial reports against the approved budget, equipment, etc., analysis of figures;
• Process and maintain data of school/financial reports to compile statistical reports;
• Provide advice to schools on compiling financial report for the expenditure on hardware/software/cloud service and training course, etc.
• Assist in checking school/financial reports by collecting supporting documents from schools;
• Any other duties assigned by the supervisors

• Experience in customer support and consultancy services;
• Solid experience in web programming, e.g. HTML5, PHP, etc. is a must;
• Experience in Excel Macro programming and MySQL is a must;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with good command in Chinese and English including oral and writing;
• Experience in accounting/financial management system and procedure is preferable;
• May be required to work outside normal office hour

Technical Skills:

• At least 2 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB);
• At least 1 year's experience in HTML5 (HT5);
• At least 1 year's experience in JavaScript Programming (JAP);
• At least 1 year's experience in PHP programming (PHP);
• At least 1 year's experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM);
• 1 year's experience in Web Hosting, Design and Maintenance (WED) is an advantage;
• 1 year's experience in IT Application Development and Management (ADM) is an advantage;
• 1 year's experience in Electronic Form (EFM) is an advantage.

Non-technical Skills:

• 1 year's experience in customer service (CLS) is an advantage;
• 1 year's experience in customer relations (ECR) is an advantage;
• 1 year's experience in helpdesk call handling (HDT) is an advantage;
• 6 months' experience in IT advisory and promotion, e.g. exhibition, publication (APR) is an advantage;
• 6 months' experience in work with the Government (GOV) is an advantage.

Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;

At least 4 years' post-qualification experience in which at least 1 year's relevant experience in a similar post and in a comparable capacity.

Our client is a leading MNC Corporate Bank with strong performance in various sectors. They are looking for an AVP/ VP for their Database Management team here in HK.

There will be regional exposure as well as ample opportunities to engage in various IT Systems enhancement projects within the bigger IT department.

The job:

• Database Management & Administration for daily systems and operations
• Configure, maintain and enhance existing DBMS
• Document, monitor and conduct testing on ongoing DBA polices and processes
• Implement and deploy DR, BCP protocols
• Devise DBMS strategies and plans in accordance with departmental direction on transformation
• Take part in projects on IT Systems across different functional teams

The candidate:

• Bachelor's degree holder in a relevant discipline
• At least 3 years of experience in Database Management/ DBA/ Database Engineering
• Experience working in a financial institution/ bank will be an advantage
• Familiarity with DBA & DR operations in regulated institutions
• Strong knowledge of DBMS, SQL Servers, SolarWinds, Unix, Linux
