**The successful candidate will:**
+ **Customer Engagement** : Lead the technical presentation, drive customer workshops and provide deep-dive technical discussion with clients on HeatWave and OCI technologies.
+ **Drive Adoption and Usage** : Increase usage, identify new HeatWave workload opportunities, enhance customer value, and boost cloud renewals and consumption expansions.
+ **Deliver Proof-of Concepts** : Performing proof of concepts, benchmarks or technical evaluations with clients
+ **Handle Technical Objections:** Strong technical objection handling skills and experience of deep technical interactions with database and analytics teams
+ Building and repeatable cloud solutions
+ **Collaborate with Teams:** Work with marketing teams to enhance awareness and with sales teams to generate and progress pipelines effectively.
+ **Support Enterprise Accounts:** Assist in initiating new projects within key accounts, focusing on account-specific use cases and co-developing solutions for production use.
+ **Provide Training and Support:** Train APAC regional Oracle teams and partners to execute and scale programs successfully.
+ **Drive Continuous Improvement:** Enhance effectiveness and efficiency, promote knowledge sharing across regional teams, and offer feedback to product development, marketing, and sales teams.
+ **Customer Success:** Gather and share real customer use cases to inform product development, marketing, and sales efforts. Create compelling customer success stories.
+ **Performance Tracking:** Measure and track the outcomes of initiatives to assess impact and inform future strategies.
**Responsibilities**
+ **Technical Expertise:** Passionate with hands on experience of MySQL and open source database technologies including database management, data analytics, machine learning, Lakehouse and Gen AI. Skilled in open-source programming languages such as SQL, Python, JavaScript and Java, as well as databases like MS SQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. Hands-on experience on BigQuery, AWS Athena, Databricks or Redshift would be a plus.
+ **Communication Skills:** Exceptional proficiency in English with strong written, oral, presentation, influencing, and negotiation abilities. Capable of engaging with diverse audiences, including DBAs, infrastructure engineers, and executives.
+ **DBA & Data Analyst Engagement:** Experience in Data Analyst engagement, advocacy, evangelism, relations, community building, or technical marketing is advantageous.
+ **Sales Experience:** Proven track record in selling cloud services and application development platforms in India market.
+ **Customer Focus:** Dedicated to fostering strong customer relationships.
+ **Collaborative Skills:** Demonstrated ability to excel both independently and as part of a team. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
+ **Proactive Attitude:** Self-motivated individual adept at task prioritization and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
+ **Academic Qualification:** Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or related degree.

Background: Take up the role as the Database Architect, primarily focus in architecting, designing secured databases for Microservices, API's and other enterprise-level applications. In charge for high performance and secured migrations from Trustees to the on-perm platform adhering to strict governance processes. Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable, high-availability infrastructure on on-perm Cloud using services like Oracle, MS SQL and Redis.
- Architect, design and execute homogeneous and heterogenous database migrations from Trustees to the centralized database platform
- Design and implement a Disaster Recovery Solution and a Near Zero Downtime maintenance architecture to minimize business interruptions.
- Lead the design and execution of enterprise data architecture strategy across a complex ecosystem.
- Architect scalable and secure data solutions that meet evolving regulatory requirements.
- Create reusable, scheme-oriented data models that promote consistency, interoperability, and self-service across business units.
- Define and implement architectural patterns supporting both real-time and batch data processing by scheme and cross schemes.
- implement monitoring solutions using Oracle OEM and AppDynamics and SiteScope, and other tools to ensure the performance, availability, and reliability of applications.
- Apply security best practices to safeguard the database platform and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and application performance.
- Work closely with development teams to integrate Platform practices and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Identify performance problems and work with various cross functional teams to resolve them efficiently.
- Participate in agile sprints including story writing, planning, daily standups, backlog grooming sessions, reviews, and post-mortem.
- Understand API/microservice architecture and can participate in architecture discussions of applications and suggest the right database.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate deployment processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Master in Information Technology
- 15+ years of strong Technical Expertise in one of the RDBMS: Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server.
- Preferred to come from a Large-Scale Corporate, MNC, or FSI background with intensive hands-on DBA Architecture Design, Implementation & Delivery experience for Enterprise-level platform.
- Proficient with monitoring and logging tools such as Oracle OEM, AppDynamics, Grafana, and SiteScope.
- Familiar with Imperva database fire wall tool and CSI Database Security standard
- Ability to analyze, use structured problem solving and available tools to troubleshoot systems, identify root cause, action plans, impact, and resolution options.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills in English and Chinese (Must)
