Key Responsibilities
Track and manage import/export contracts and ensure timely execution
Process customer orders, quotations, confirmations, and delivery arrangements
Monitor shipping documentation progress and coordinate schedules with the sales team
Handle full set of trade documentation including customs declarations, certificates of origin, shipment bookings, export arrangements, letters of credit (L/C), and foreign exchange transactions
Liaise with the finance team to monitor customer payment status and ensure timely collections
Prepare sales reports and manage recovery of write-off orders
Submit accurate and timely documentation to support financial write-offs and internal audits
Ideal Candidate
Degree holder in Business, Finance, Logistics, or a related discipline
Minimum 1 year of experience in trade operations, preferably within the Bills Department of banks or trading companies
Familiarity with L/C handling, shipping documentation, and international trade procedures
Experience in commodities or natural resources trading is an advantage
Proficient in English, Chinese, and Mandarin
Skilled in Microsoft Office applications

As the APAC Services Operations and Resource Management Director, you will play a critical leadership role in driving operational excellence, resource optimization, and strategic initiatives within Siemens Digital Industries Software (DISW) across the APAC region. You will oversee services operations, resource management, and ensure alignment with Siemens' global strategies and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Define and lead initiatives at the zone and regional levels to drive operational efficiency, improve margins, and optimize resource management.
- Proactively provide global policy and best practice updates to country Services Business Managers and Resource Managers (RMs) to ensure alignment with Siemens DISW's global strategy.
- Develop and lead services activities to ensure staffing aligns with business initiatives, delivering high-quality, standardized, and repeatable standard processes.
- Contribute to the global debate on services strategy and capability, defining the Zone agenda for the evolution of the services business.
- Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly reviews, including services business performance monitoring, utilization deep dives, and Sales Review Call materials.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure the adoption of our Professional Service Automation (PSA) systems across APAC countries with data integrity and accuracy.
- Oversee the Order-to-Cash end-to-end process, ensuring compliance and consistency in all APAC countries.
- Maintain effective reporting systems, dashboards, and management reports to meet fiscal, legal, and organizational requirements.
- Monitor actuals and forecasts against the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) at the Zone level and contribute to its definition.
Resource Management
- Lead the APAC Resource Management community, promoting RM functions and initiatives across APAC countries.
- Work closely with country RMO teams to drive and improve billable utilization, skill development, and capacity planning.
- Handle resource request escalations and collaborate with RMOs at the zone and global levels to resolve issues.
- Maintain an overview of available skill sets within the Zone, proactively connecting requesters to authorities and identifying future resource needs.
- Work closely with the countries to manage subcontractors at the Zone level.
Compliance and Governance
- Ensure all business activities meet organizational quality, compliance, health and safety, legal, and environmental policies.
- Uphold and carry out Siemens compliance guidelines and health and safety policies.
- Adhere to core internal and customer processes, ensuring consistent communication channels within the business.
Team Development and Support
- Provide guidance to country services directors on training, mentoring, and people development initiatives.
- Support the performance management process and contribute to the annual headcount planning, including third-party mix targets.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence, supporting Siemens' values and reputation across markets.
General Responsibilities
- Willingness to travel (10%-30%) and work core hours as required, respecting local country legislation and company policies.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- 15+ years of working experience in the software services or related industry.
- 10+ years in a service operations capacity and 5+ years in resource management.
- Certifications: RMCP certification is a plus.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English; knowledge of other Asian languages is a plus.
- Key Skills:
- Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Validated ability to drive results independently and work effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
- Self-motivated, quick learner and analytical with excellent problem-solving skills.
