Our client is a well established IT MNC manufacturing networking and unified communications solutions, with over 50 years of experience in the market and USD2B of revenue.
Experience rapid growth in Asia; there is an opportunity in the Hong Kong region. This role is based in Quarry Bay, Hong Kong, reports to the Technical Manager – NEA, and may require traveling around domestic regions as well as occasional North East Asia regions when required.
Responsibilities- Handle technical support cases and provide phone, remote assistance and on-site support to dealers and customers.
- Maintain expert-level product knowledge and application.
- Identify solutions for technical support scenarios, product selection and system design for audio-visual system applications.
- Assist customers by providing technical information and support for our products and technologies.
- Maintain a high level of professional communication with our dealers and clients throughout the processes of resolving technical issues.
- Perform technical/product training for dealers and targeted accounts.
- Work closely with the regional team in identifying customer needs and sales opportunities to help future growth.
- Participate in marketing events such as trade shows and conferences to ensure the messaging is presented correctly.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology or Computer Programming or actively enrolled in a BS program.
- 3-5 years of experience in Network Engineering, Help Desk, or A/V Integration.
- Broad understanding of Ethernet networking technologies; CCNA or similar networking certification is highly desirable.
- Self-starter with proven ability to constantly learn new software and hardware technologies and quickly apply that learning to support real-world projects.
- Experience with several of the following is a plus: C#, Microsoft PowerShell, BacNET/IP and SIP/VOIP.
