The Director of Network & Provider management is responsible for overseeing the development and management of the healthcare provider network for Prudential. This includes negotiating contracts with healthcare providers, ensuring network adequacy and maintaining positive relationships with providers to ensure high-quality care for members.
Role And Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing strategies to build and maintain a high-quality provider network and TPAs where needed.
- Negotiating contracts with healthcare providers, including fee schedules and performance metrics.
- Monitoring network performance and provider satisfaction and implementing improvements as needed.
- Identify global best practices in provider management for adoption, as appropriate in markets.
- Collaborating with internal teams, such as operations, finance, and quality management to ensure network alignment with organizational goals.
- Analyzing data and trends to identify opportunities for network expansion and optimization.
- Perform analytics on network providers to assess performance metrics and provide insights for LBUs.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards related to provider network management.
- Leading a team of network management professional and providing guidance and support to achieve goal.
- Develop framework to evaluate medical service providers and their value delivery, integration and funding model.
- Develop framework/guidelines & support LBUs in conducting agreed fee/discount negotiations with providers on price, volume and outcome.
- Define standards for partnership identification, support LBUs in assessing partners’ ability to deliver appeal and sustainability by conducting clinical due diligence.
- Define standards and support LBUs in enhancing capabilities in pharmaceutical benefits management.
- Closely works with Claims team for feedback to providers and vice-versa to claims team on findings from analytics on provider performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration or a related field
- Proven experience in network and provider management, healthcare administration with minimum of 7+ years of experience in leading a team.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements and industry trends
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationship with providers.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to use data to drive network optimization and cost containment strategies.
- Knowledge of healthcare IT systems and network management tools
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement network strategies to meet business objectives.

Responsibilities:
1. Clinical Governance & Provider Audit
- Develop and implement clinical governance frameworks to ensure adherence to quality standards
- Lead provider audits to assess compliance with clinical protocols, documentation accuracy, and care outcomes.
- Collaborate with providers to address gaps and implement corrective action plans.
2. Data-Driven Cost Control & Analytics
- Utilize advanced analytics (SQL, Power BI, Tableau) to monitor healthcare utilization, cost trends, and risk metrics.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through data insights (e.g., high-cost claimants, preventable admissions).
- Track KPIs for cost efficiency, provider performance, and population health via dashboards and performance reports
3. Provider Network Performance
- Manage provider relationships to ensure alignment with clinical and financial goals.
- Analyze provider performance data (e.g., efficiency, quality scores) for network optimization.
- Negotiate performance-based contracts with providers focused on value-based care.
4. Medical Concierge & Case Management
- Oversee medical concierge services for high-touch patient navigation and care coordination.
- Optimize care pathways, reduce hospital readmissions, and support complex cases.
- Integrate patient data to personalize care plans and interventions.
- Align case management plans with pre-auth protocols for seamless care continuity.
- Implement patient steering strategies to direct members toward high-quality, cost-effective providers.
6. Clinical/ medical Preauthorization
- Ability to handle preauthorization on medical/ clinical procedures and or medical investigations and medications prescriptions in a professional and efficient manner
- Ensure pre-auth decisions enforce reasonable and customary cost benchmarks and contractually agreed rates.
- Analyze pre-auth data to pinpoint high-cost drivers, wasteful services, and outlier provider practices; develop action plans to address.
- Collaborate closely with claims, Network Management, FWA committee to report suspicious patterns and recover costs.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in written and spoken English & Cantonese
- At least 5 years of experience of working in medical disciplines is required
- University graduate from medical/ healthcare field with Strong knowledge on medical and clinical procedures
- License Registered Nurse is strongly preferred
- Background in healthcare insurance market or healthcare provider market or relevant transferable skills and knowledge
- Able to carry out effective coaching and training
- Good communication and negotiation skill
- Good problem solving and decision-making skills
- Demonstrate ability to deal with difficult people
- Experience in project implementation
- High levels of integrity and trust

The Role
You will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of Configuration Management functions in assigned projects/products, to assure consistency in application of Configuration Management principles and change control processes over the lifecycle of a project/product.

- Manages the implementation of the PLM system for configuration management of the project including analysis of requirements, system configuration, customization, data loading and end-user training
- Participates in the creation of Product Breakdown Structure (PBS)
- Establishes Configuration Management (CM) baselines such as FBL, ABL or PBL
- Perform Functional Configuration Audits & Physical Configuration Audits
- Provides support services to resolve configuration management issues during project lifecycles; escalate and complete corrective actions in a timely fashion
- Responsible for maintaining consistency of information in the configuration management system for the project both in Country of Origin and Country of Destination
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent experience

- 5+ years of experience in server virtualization, Windows, Linux and/or Unix, SAN as well as LAN/WAN technology
- Wintel - Familiar with Microsoft, infrastructure, Exchange, Active Directory and , support Server /Network,
- Network - Hands-on experience with network devices setup, configuration & troubleshooting, such as Cisco routers and switches, Juniper firewalls, and load balancers. Experience in Huawei product is a plus
- Security - Working experience in monitoring vendor performance, conducting security risk assessment audits, and supporting network intrusion detection services. Experience with leading security technologies such as SIEM, DLP, IAM, SASE and vulnerability management is an advantage
- Holder certifications in Network / Cloud / Cybersecurity such as AWS Cloud, PCNSE, CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, CISA, CISM or CEH etc. is advantage
- Hands-on experience in cloud networking infrastructure design and maintenance is an advantage
- Excellent organizing, analytical, detail-minded and problem solving skills, good team player with strong interpersonal skills,
- Good communication in both Cantonese & English, both written and oral
- More experience will be regarded as Senior role

- Ensure the platform and network security controls are embedded into the architecture and design of the platforms and network used within the Club

- Continuously identify control and coverage gaps, and improvement initiatives to uplift the Platform & Network Security service, particularly in areas of emerging technology the Club is looking to adopt

You will:

You should have:

- Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills
- Well-disciplined with exemplary professional competence and integrity
- Experience with the following services and technologies – Endpoint/Server Security (Anti-Malware & Endpoint Detection and Response), Virtualisation Security, Container Security, Cloud Security, Web & Email Security Gateway, Firewall Governance and IDS/IPS, Web Application Firewall/DDoS/API Protection
- Industry-recognised certification in one or more of the following – CISSP, CISM, etc.
