Job Duties:
- To administer the operation of servers, network equipment and security devices, and to enhance the security level of these hardware equipment
- To provide technical support, troubleshooting and problem resolution related to the network infrastructure and Internet services
- To plan, oversee and monitor for the provision of IT services and administration of IT matters
- To conduct regular health check of network equipment and rectify issues found
- To perform planning for implementation of new IT projects and prepare the requirements specifications for procurement of IT systems, network products and services
- To provide technical advice and support on IT infrastructure and enhancing the IT security in the office
- To perform system administration on Windows / Linux servers and implement the automation scripts when necessary
- To supervise the work and monitor the performance of Contract Senior IT Assistants for the provision of IT support and troubleshooting services to end users
- To work at different offices to provide IT support occasionally
Job Requirement:
- Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science or related subjects
- At least 4 years' experience in IT industry
- Technical knowledge and solid working experience in administration on departmental network involving servers, network equipment (including proxy and firewall, etc.) and security appliances / devices (e.g. VPN / malware / anti-virus / IDPS solution)
- Well-versed in H3C network routers and switches configuration, covering settings related to BGP, OSPF, ACL, IRF and SNMP
- Well-versed in firewalls configuration, covering settings related to routing, ACL, proxy, IDPS, logging and preferably with the major firewall brands (e.g. Fortinet, SonicWall, etc)
- Hands-on experience in Windows / Linux server scripting
- Technical knowledge and solid working experience in administration on GOA systems
- Hands-on experience and troubleshooting skills in root cause analysis, providing work-around / solution to the problems and handling fire-fighting scenarios.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor the network operation team for maintaining and administering Unified Communication System, IT Network, Wireless Network, Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Network and Structured Cabling.
- Oversee IT network equipment life cycle including maintenance, upgrade, and retirement.
- Provide technical advice on network infrastructure projects including greenfield projects and hardware refreshment projects.
- Manage IT infrastructure planning and policy/standard/baseline formulation .
- Manage the IT procurement process including approval paper and requirement specification.
- Handling of network infrastructure handover from the project including document review, configuration review and onsite inspection.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Having strong experience in administering and supporting wired and wireless network infrastructure support , especially Huawei Switch, Cisco Switch, Router, wireless controller, F5 load balancer, Palo Alto firewall and FortiGate firewall.
- Experience in Cisco Unified Communication System and Mobile Network will be an advantage.
- Holder of Cisco's CCNP/CCNA, CCNP/CCNA wireless and CCNP/CCNA Collaboration is an advantage.
- Having experience in large-scale IT projects is an advantage .
- Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills including development and maintenance of technical documents.
- Good interpersonal skills and a good team player with work independence and self-motivation.
