How you will make an impact:
- To support the safety-related businesses and operation of property services and its business units including Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) service, cleaning service, security service and property management service.
- To advise periodically and maintain the occupational safety and health (OSH) standards in compliance with applicable legislation requirements including any update and amended regulation/ requirement.
- Develop and periodically review OSH strategies and plans to meet company objectives and KPIs.
- Conduct incident investigation, internal and external safety audits, safety inspection and regular site inspections to identify hazardous conditions and for the rectification of such condition.
- Identify and conduct internal OSH trainings and awareness programs, as well as cooperate and collaborate with external party to arrange OSH related training courses to our employees.
- Evaluate, maintain and review the OSH management system to fulfill ISO standards and ensure the compliance with the Group's policy & procedure.
- Develop, review and revise safety related guideline, procedure and work instruction.
- Organize regular safety committee meetings and prepare the minutes.
- Prepare the documentary works such as risk assessment and safety report.
- Consolidate and validate all health and safety data and prepare all required reports for management review.
- To promote and encourage a culture of safety at work.
- To provide occupational safety & health advisory services.
- Assist in any ad-hoc projects and site safety audit as assigned.
What we are looking for:
- Degree or Higher Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or relevant disciplines
- Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience in sizable companies, preferably in property and facility management companies
- Registered Safety Officer from the Hong Kong Labour Department
- Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated, initiative and strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct on site safety training, inspection and manage safety documents
- Proficient in PC applications including MS office and English & Chinese Word Processing
- Good command of English & Chinese written skills

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Familiar with Hong Kong's legal and regulatory framework in industrial safety, environmental protection, occupational health, fire safety, and emergency response.
- Experienced in communication and administrative approval processes with the Fire Services Department, Occupational Safety & Health Council, and Environmental Protection Department.
- Familiar with the compliance permits required at each stage of a manufacturing industry/factory/fabrication.
- Knowledgeable in NFPA, SEMI, and FM standards relevant to semiconductor FABs or the manufacturing industry.
- Proficient in contractor compliance processes and hazardous work regulations.
- Detail-oriented, self-driven and able to work with minimal guidance.
- Language proficiency in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.
- Good command of written English and Chinese (both Traditional and Simplified Chinese).
The initial employment contract spans 12 months and can be renewed with a longer tenure upon mutual agreement of the incumbent and MRDI. The incumbent will normally work five days a week. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A gratuity of 15% of the salary will be awarded upon satisfactory completion of the contract.
