Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze data to identify business problems and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and document business requirements, user story, process workflows, risk, timeline and communications plans for projects
  • Establish, lead and motivate the project teams to carry out all project tasks and deliverables according to agreed time and cost estimates

Qualifications

  • Excellent understanding of project management control procedures

Head (Business Solutions)

Major Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the delivery of FinTech projects and management of the production service of FinTech platforms
  • Coordinate with internal cross-functional divisions and external vendors to ensure smooth operation of Fintech platforms
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, such as the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Hong Kong Association of Banks and financial sector, to explore and develop new technological initiatives
  • Manage and coach the team to build secure, reliable and interoperable technological solutions
  • Assist the Chief Officer in maintaining healthy and sustainable financial results of projects and  complying with statutory/regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • University degree in information technology or related discipline
  • Minimum 20 years of experience in information technology or FinTech solution development of which at least 10 years at managerial position in financial industry
  • Possess strong knowledge of FinTech technologies such as blockchain, cloud-based application, cryptocurrency
  • Proven track record in managing and delivery of FinTech initatives
  • Extensive experience in project governance and management
  • Strong leadership, analytical, interpersonal, communication and management skills
  • Good understanding of the regulatory landscape in the financial sector
  • In-depth knowledge of emerging FinTech trends and technologies
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese as well as fluency in Putonghua

  • Minimum 10 years of IT experience with 5 years in ICT areas; familiar with pre-sales working model including tender procedures and requirements; strong business acumen.
  • Excellent knowledge in security products and technologies, e.g. UTM/NGFW, web application firewall, anti-DDoS, security audit and assessment, and SIEM.
  • Experience providing consultancy to plan/design the overall security management lifecycle and fulfill compliance requirements for customers.
  • Good knowledge of cyber security compliance (e.g., PCI-DSS, MA requirements, China’s Cybersecurity Law, PDPO, GDPR).
  • Professional qualifications such as CISSP, CISA, and other related certifications.
  • ISO27001 and ISO2000 (ITIL) qualifications are a plus.
  • Outstanding decision-making, problem-solving and crisis handling skills.
  • Excellent command of English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
  • Overseas travel may be required.
