Job Description
Job Duties:
(1) To plan, implement and administer sponsorship including handling of sponsorship agreements, and liaison with sponsors on sponsorship entitlements and benefits;
(2) To handle matters relating to ticketing such as administrative arrangements and logistics for ticket sale, coordination of the setup and operation of on-site box offices, enquiry hotlines, manpower for ticket checking, complaints and disputes handling;
(3) To implement and coordinate promotion programmes and campaigns to boost ticket sales and spectator attendance of the competition events of the National Games;
(4) To handle matters relating to design, production and retailing of franchised souvenirs and other promotion items of the National Games;
(5) To handle matters relating to development, production and distribution of complimentary souvenirs for the National Games;
(6) To perform any other duties assigned by supervisor(s) / the Government Representative(s); and
(7) To work on irregular hours occasionally.
Job Requirements:
(1) Bachelor's degree from a Hong Kong university, or equivalent;
(2) At least 6 years of post-degree full-time work experience in public administration, event management, public relations, or related discipline. Work experience in government or public organisations is an advantage;
(3) Experience in sponsorship management, intellectual property (IP) franchising or ticketing is a plus;
(4) Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively across various events and teams;
(5) Excellent in problem solving and leadership skills, proactive and possess strong sense of responsibility;
(6) Have good interpersonal communication skills, excellent writing skills in both Chinese and English, and speak fluent Cantonese, Mandarin and English;
(7) Proficient in Chinese and English word processing, and knowledge in the application of common business software (including but not limited to MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint); and
(8) Able to work outside normal office hours and meet tight deadlines.
