Reporting Line: Onboarding Team Lead
Responsibilities:
- Manage the client onboarding process, review of client applications, and ensure that all required legal documents and associated information to meet all regulatory and internal policies.
- Act as a subject matter expert on the required legal documents and process to onboard a client.
- Undertake a quality review of clients' KYC records.
- Manage and facilitate client due diligence.
- Serve as a point of contact for KYC and reporting issues of designated clients.
- Act as a KYC and AML subject matter resource for the company's stakeholders.
- Act as a subject matter resource on the KYC/AML policies and procedures.
- Discuss and escalate with MLRO/Compliance complex issues surrounding client types and structures, financial products and services, and other AML risk-related issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field 3 years of experience in client onboarding, account opening, or KYC (Know Your Customer) processes
- Familiarity with brokerage or financial services operations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to liaise with clients and internal departments professionally

Summary:
To work closely with the Asia & Middle East HR and Partnership Recruitment teams, providing them with the proactive support necessary to deliver the required results for Asia & Middle East. Take control of the process post HR vetting and contracting to ensure the Partner recruit / transfer is correctly appointed on all our systems, has the correct remuneration terms, and required accesses in an efficient and timely manner. Be the Business Sales & Purchase ("BSP") coding expert and ensure all BSPs are set up correctly and transfers completed / issues reconciled.
Responsibilities:
- Gain an expert understanding in the requirements needed for new Partners to join the Partnership; effectively guiding them through the process following completion of the initial application through to their appointment, acting as their main point of contact for any queries or concerns.
- Speaking/meeting directly with new recruits and/or Recruitment team gathering information as and when required.
- Processing of Transfers, Trading Names, Virtual Firms and Dual/Multiple Licenses.
- Ensuring new appointees, transfers and Business Sales & Purchase are set up correctly on our IT systems and Partners have accurate communications on how to access their client data.
- Own the Business Sales & Purchase code process and Transaction Details calls. Set up the codes, communicate to Partners and ensure all transfers of servicing & fees are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Complete reconciliations for Partners when required.
- Attending weekly calls with Client Transfer team and recons as appropriate.
- Work with Partner Finance Team on Partner payments, lending queries as appropriate.
- Regularly discuss and complete transfer out of Shanghai to close it off
- Take on ad hoc duties and projects assigned by management team
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of relevant work experiences in financial industry is preferred.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
- Polite, friendly and professional.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to maintaining a consistent high level of performance.
- Strong analytical & problem-solving skills and focused attention to detail.
- Proactive in all areas of the role, and actively thinking of new ways to approach tasks/improve processes.
