Job Title: Oracle Financial Applications Consultant (EBS/Fusion)
Location: Hong Kong
Key Objective
We are looking for an experienced Oracle Financial Applications Consultant to join our Global Delivery team in Hong Kong. The consultant will be responsible for delivering both proactive and reactive technical support to customers using Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) or Oracle Fusion Cloud . This role will focus on optimizing system stability, availability, and performance for critical financial applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver both onsite and remote technical support to Oracle EBS/Fusion Cloud customers in Hong Kong and across the region.
- Proactively engage with customers to ensure the successful deployment, operation, and optimization of Oracle Financial Applications.
- Support daily operations, including financial module maintenance, customization development, functional enhancements, and training on system setup and usage.
- Collaborate closely with Oracle Technical Account Managers (TAM), solution architects, product support teams, and customer stakeholders to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Respond to and resolve service requests within agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Develop standard deliverables, technical documents, and methodologies to improve service efficiency.
- Investigate and respond to technical queries and issues raised by customers.
- Stay current with new product releases, patches, and updates in Oracle applications, especially in the financial modules.
- Maintain expertise in Oracle Financials and expand knowledge into other related domains such as Manufacturing and HR as needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the team and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 8 years of IT experience , with at least 6 years of hands-on experience in supporting Oracle EBS and/or Fusion Cloud Financial modules .
- Deep functional knowledge and support experience in Oracle Financials (e.g., GL, AP, AR, FA, CM). Experience in Manufacturing and/or HR modules is a plus.
- Strong background in Oracle EBS R12; experience with Fusion Cloud Financials is a definite advantage.
- Implementation and development experience across Oracle EBS and/or Fusion Cloud financial modules, including data integration and migration.
- Understanding of Oracle EBS architecture and technology stack.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL , and integration development (preferably on Linux platforms).
- Fluent in English and Cantonese ; Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification is highly preferred.

Job Description
As an Advisory Systems Engineer, you are expected to be an expert member of the problem-solving/avoidance team and be highly skilled in solving extremely complex (often previously unknown), critical customer issues. Performing the assigned duties with a high level of autonomy and reporting to management on customer status and technical matters on a regular basis, you will be expected to work with very limited guidance from management. Further, the Advisory Systems Engineer is sought by customers and Oracle employees to provide expert technical advice.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively working with CSS customers to ensure their successful deployment of Fusion ERP Cloud.
- Providing assistance to service delivery team in critical situations as requested.
- Tasks include daily service support, financial module maintenance support, customization development, function enhancement, and financial module setup and operation training.
- Forming effective professional relationships with Oracle Technical Account Managers, Oracle Solution team, Oracle Product Support and customer staff, at all levels, to ensure customer satisfaction with Oracle's products and support organization.
- Respond and resolve service requests within Key Performance Indicator targets.
- Developing high quality, standard deliverables and methods to promote efficient service delivery.
- Researching and responding to technical inquiries from customers.
- Maintaining an up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of new products released in the market.
- Maintaining product expertise within own area of specialization.
- Contributing to the continuous development of the team.
Qualifications:
- B.A./B.S. in a technical field or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum 10 years IT experience, at least 8 years solid experience in Oracle E-business Suite and Fusion cloud Financial modules.
- Mainly work in Financial modules; experience with Manufacturing & HR modules will be an additional advantage.
- Solid experience and deep knowledge of Fusion ERP cloud; experience in Oracle E-business Suite R12 is definitely an advantage.
- Experienced in the implementation and development of Oracle Fusion ERP, including Fusion Cloud financial module implementation and data integration.
- Strong PL/SQL and Integration development skills are an additional advantage.
- Fluent in English and Cantonese, with Mandarin speaking as an advantage.
- Proven team and people management experience.
