Key Responsibilities
You will work alongside other Teammates on a variety of digital, technology, and digital transformation topics. Every project is different, but you can expect to:

• Performs requirements analysis, application design and develops technical design documents
• Experience with solutions using the requirements to drive the design
• Review test cases, process change requests, and lead a project’s scope, review acceptance, and deployment.
• Explain the business requirement to other functional and technical members in the project.
• Perform CRP workshops
• Performs configuration, release, and change management tasks
• Participates in and conducts peer reviews as needed
• Provide expert knowledge inputs to responses to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and delivery of Proof of Concepts (POCs)
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and lead the solution release/deployment to production.
  

• Bachelor's degree and approximately 6 years of related work experience
• 5 years of industry experience implementing ERP solutions
• 3 years of experience implementing Oracle fusion cloud applications – ERP Financials / HCM modules
• Multiple full cycle implementations of Oracle ERP Cloud and Oracle EBS Applications implementation experience
• Good oral and written communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Strong communication skills and client-facing experience.
• Ability to work with regional & global delivery team

For this team we are looking for several Alliances Engineers to support OEM (hardware manufacturers), GSI (global system integrators), ISV (independent software vendors), Channel partners and Public Cloud alliance partners. You will support various alliances and partners of Canonical to adopt our products and technologies, help business leaders to define joint go-to-market programs with partners from the technical standpoint.

What your day will look like

• Understand Ubuntu, Linux, networking and services in real-world environments
• Architect cloud infrastructure solutions like Kubernetes, Kubeflow, OpenStack, Ceph, and Spark either On-Premises or in Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Architect and integrate popular open source software such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Kafka, Cassandra and NGINX
• Help partners to offer and architect joint solutions utilizing Canonical's technologies on top of the public clouds and in the data center
• Design and publish joint Reference Architectures and perform technical validations with various partners
• Prepare and run onboarding sessions/workshops with various partners' teams to promote Canonical products and solutions

The Job

• Support and contribute to large-scale hybrid cloud platform modernization projects, ensuring smooth transitions and optimal digital application performance.
• Participate in hybrid infrastructure projects, ensuring effective implementation and integration.
• Monitor cloud project progress, identify risks and issues, and propose mitigation strategies.

The Job

• Support and contribute to large-scale hybrid cloud platform modernization projects, ensuring smooth transitions and optimal digital application performance.
• Participate in hybrid infrastructure projects, ensuring effective implementation and integration.
• Monitor cloud project progress, identify risks and issues, and propose mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Prepare solution architecture diagrams and documentation.
• Support solution demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and technical workshops.
• Help develop presentations and proposals highlighting solution benefits and ROI.
• Provide technical support during sales cycles and assist in troubleshooting implementation issues.
• Hold and Maintain relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Alibaba Cloud, Huawei Cloud) and commit to ongoing education.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in IT infrastructure and solution design (4 years).
• Relevant industry certifications highly desirable.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Customer-focused mindset with passion for technology.
• Commitment to continuous learning in emerging technologies.
