You don’t need to come from a specific academic background. However, what matters most is your curiosity about how businesses operate across various industries in Hong Kong, your comfort in speaking with people, and your motivation to learn, grow, and contribute quickly.

From day one, you’ll speak with clients to understand their needs, introduce our AI and data-led products, and support them in making better decisions. You’ll also receive training in corporate governance, product innovation, and marketing and sales strategy from a team of experienced consultants.

The Role
  • Speak directly with clients to understand their priorities and recommend the right product and/or advisory solutions.
  • Support consultants on key client projects, including executive pay reviews, incentive design, and governance assessments.
  • Help develop insights and materials for client meetings.
  • Manage our executive compensation database and collaborate with our digital team to identify opportunities to improve our products and processes.
  • Proactively lead outreach campaigns to generate interest in our data products, and advisory services.

  • Fluent in Cantonese and English: it is essential for engaging effectively with local clients in Hong Kong
  • Outgoing and sociable: enjoy conversations, love to build friendships, and are confident presenting ideas and engaging with senior leaders
  • Commercially curious: interested in how companies are run, grow, and transform, and how we help companies along the way
  • Open to learn new things: eager to climb the learning curve quickly, embrace feedback, and willing to explore different approaches to get things done
  • Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks under tight timelines
  • Good Excel hygiene and disciplined formatting practices in Word and PowerPoint
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive business growth by expanding our HR transformation offerings, identifying new opportunities, and contributing to business development initiatives
  • Lead the development and implementation of HR transformation strategies for clients, ensuring alignment with their business goals
  • Manage a team of KPMG professionals on client engagements and providing leadership in shaping a delivery approach
  • Ensure the successful delivery of projects by overseeing project plans, managing resources effectively, and monitoring project milestones
  • Develop appropriate client relationships to enhance the reputation of KPMG as advisor of choice and identify further client opportunities.

Experience & Background

  • Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in the HR function or consulting, with a focus on HR transformation and/or change management projects. Experience in a Big 4 professional firm or in a large corporation is preferred, but not required.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Organisation Design, HR processes, technology and operating model. Experience in shared service model design / review is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of an organization
  • Experience manage and coach a team of consultants, guiding them to deliver high-quality results and achieve client objectives
  • A good track record of delivering high quality project, or assignment outputs with a focus on delivering measurable business improvements preferably from working for a major advisory business, consultancy or corporate
  • Plan, design and shape project work streams, manage progress, resolve issues and limit risks

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Degree holder in relevant discipline
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas: employee experience, HR technology transformation and change management
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience working in a professional services firm, global consultancy, or an in-house role with exposure to large-scale programs of work
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
  • Effective project management experience including organization and time management skills
  • Managers or above are expected to be experienced in engaging C-Suite level stakeholders and senior management
  • Strong project management capabilities as well as written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent communication skills and command of English; Cantonese and Mandarin capabilities are a strong plus
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Consultants

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience in working across various industries including but not limited to financial services

What we look for

  • Experience of leading projects or project streams implementing SAP SuccessFactors/Workday/Oracle Fusion, and/or other HRM or HR systems, e.g. ATS, LMS, Payroll software, Benefits Management software.
  • Solid technology knowledge and experience, covering HR tech trends and best practice advisory, complemented by strong HR functional and operations understanding
  • Experience in delivering persona-based process optimization, including user requirements, journey maps, etc.
  • Delivery across the complete lifecycle of HR Transformation projects, from concept through execution and ongoing operations

We help clients in several areas including HR transformation strategy, implementation of HR transformation solutions such as Cloud technology and optimization of HR operating model. To qualify for the role you must have

  • Degree holder in relevant discipline
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas: employee experience, HR technology transformation and change management
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience working in a professional services firm, global consultancy, or an in-house role with exposure to large-scale programs of work
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
  • Effective project management experience including organization and time management skills
  • Managers or above are expected to be experienced in engaging C-Suite level stakeholders and senior management
  • Strong project management capabilities as well as written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent communication skills and command of English; Cantonese and Mandarin capabilities are a strong plus
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Consultants

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience in working across various industries including but not limited to financial services
