A large Chinese bank is now hiring an AML Transaction Monitoring (Assistant Manager) (Fixed-term contract) to join their FCC department.
Your new role
- Support the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of the Bank's AML/CFT systems, including drafting user requirements, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), collaborating with IT teams, and resolving application-related incidents.
- Perform regular scenario threshold reviews and tuning to maintain system effectiveness and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Monitor transactions and investigate suspicious activities or alerts generated by AML/CFT systems to identify potential money laundering or terrorist financing risks.
- Review AML reports, detect suspicious transactions, initiate appropriate follow-up actions to ensure adherence to relevant regulations.
- Participate in the timely preparation and submission of suspicious transaction reports (STRs) to the appropriate regulatory authorities.
- Assist the team head in tracking the progress of AML/CFT system cases and STRs, ensuring investigations are completed and conclusions are reached within the required timeframe.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Law, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology or related disciplines;
- At least 3-4 years of relevant experience in AML/CFT compliance, preferably in transaction monitoring and SAS system threshold tuning from banks;
- Holding AAMLP/CAMS/ECF would be an advantage;
- Sound knowledge of anti-money laundering-related regulations, guidelines and practices;
- Knowledge of data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g. SAS Viya, SQL and Python);
- Independent, good team player, analytical mind with sound communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is preferable.

The MRDI is looking for a dynamic and high-calibre professional to fill the position of Engineer, Factory Monitoring and Control System (FMCS).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and monitor the factory's Facility Monitoring and Control System (FMCS).
- Co-operate with facility engineers to ensure smooth operations of the centralised systems to provide an un-interrupted production operation.
- Arrange annual testing of the systems to fulfil HK Government regulation requirement, and formulate the tender document for hiring contractors for system maintenance or improvement.
- Carry out and arrange regular preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM) of the FMCS system, such as PLCs, to provide an un-interrupted production operation.
- Participate in the system upgrade with new features or other system integration.
- Maintain all systems at the optimal conditions to ensure the performance of those systems achieve highest operation standard.
- Keep all documentation and records of the system maintenance and formulate the correspondence Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) of the related works to facilitate ISO 9001 application and renewal.
- Participate emergency respond during emergency situations, and work with safety team to resolve the problem.
- Prepare yearly budget plan for maintenance and improvement work, conduct cost saving evaluation and execution.
- Perform administrative support and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electronic, electrical, automation, computer technology, or other related disciplines.
- Minimum five years of relevant working experience.
- Familiar with FMCS and its architecture.
- Skilled in the technical drawing, review, modification of the automatic control system, and the selection of electrical components.
- Proficient in DCS and PLC programming (Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, AB, etc.), familiar with WinCC/Intouch, iFIX configuration software programming and graphic modification, SQL databases, and various communication protocols and data connections.
- Understand electrical schematics and control diagrams, and proficient in using AutoCAD software.
- Familiar with safety regulation or with experience of cleanroom operation have advantage.
- Willing to participate in factory operations with shifts duty.
- Good command in English and Chinese (both Putonghua and Cantonese).
Note: Candidate with more experience will also be considered for senior position.
The initial employment contract spans 12 months and can be renewed with a longer tenure upon mutual agreement of the incumbent and MRDI. The incumbent will normally work five days a week. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A gratuity of 15% of the salary will be awarded upon satisfactory completion of the contract.
