As an Associate in the Emerging Market Corporate Bond Team, you will be responsible for producing high quality, insightful and impactful credit research on Emerging Market corporate bond issuers across multiple sectors. The analysis will include both fundamental and relative value analysis across issuers, maturities, and currencies. You should have strong written and verbal skills and be able to communicate your views to portfolio managers and analysts, across Hong Kong, Shanghai, London and New York.
Job responsibilities
- Build bottom-up fundamental research and relative value analysis on a group of corporate credits across multiple sectors under assigned coverage.
- Perform fundamental sector analysis and be conversant in factors driving performance of the industry and constituents.
- Develop relative value opinions on covered credits and be able to present views in discussions with portfolio managers.
- Recommend relative value ranking for each sector and issuer covered.
- Publish concise and well-structured research notes on issuers under coverage on regular basis.
- Coordinate credit and relative value views, including relative value across currencies, with counterparts and portfolio managers in London, Hong Kong, Shanghai and New York.
- Interact with company managements, sell side analysts (debt & equity), and rating agency analysts.
- Attend industry conferences and other investor meetings as appropriate.
- 5 years+ of Emerging Market corporate research experience, on the buy-side with a proven track record or with a top-tier sell-side institution.
- Strong fundamental credit analysis and financial modelling skills.
- Solid understanding of relative value analysis and factors influencing credit spread performance.
- Understanding of key ESG drivers for the sectors covered.
- BA/BS/MBA or equivalent.

Required Experience and Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Proven proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and using data visualization tools (e.g., MS Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Business Objects) for impactful storytelling.
- Knowledge of SQL , machine learning concepts, and familiarity with R or Python is desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills , with the ability to present findings to non-technical audiences.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a corporate workplace environment, preferably in data or project management roles.
- Experience with vendor and project management .
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
- Self-motivated , striving for excellence, customer-focused, and able to inspire and influence, with a keen interest in the Wellness and Benefits field.

As a Data Analyst at Lalamove, you will work with a group of passionate and talented product managers, engineers, designers, and data scientists to solve some of the most challenging problems the company is facing. You will be delivering reports, dashboards, data sources, actionable insights based on analyses and experimentation to empower product management in making informed decisions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for generating value out of data and shape the future of lalamove products.

- Experience in applying Visualization, Statistical Inference and other Data Mining techniques on variety of data
- Proficiency in SQL. Comfortable with Linux and Git commands
- Experience using Tableau or other BI Tools for reporting and analyses
- Good command of English and Cantonese
