- Providing you with support from world-class instructors who will teach you the theory of flying, systems and the regulations required to succeed as an airline pilot
- Spending time in both single and twin-engined light aircraft
- Practicing in jet aircraft Simulators and learning Airline Operating Procedures, Large Jet Handling and Multi-Crew Flying

Flight Crew People Manager
This role is part of a professional team in our Flight Operations Department, which consists of flight crew and ground staff teams, both working to ensure the highest standards of operational efficiency and service. Safety is intrinsic to everything we do.
As an Assistant Manager Flight Crew People, you will provide both operational and administrative support to the Flight Crew People Managers and step in for them when they are away from the office. You will also help manage flight crew data to ensure smooth and accurate personnel operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to Flight Crew People Managers; Support Flight Crew People Managers with regards to Disciplinary and Grievance process
- Assist Flight Crew People Managers with specific written communication to Flight Crew
- Responsible to answer enquiry from Flight Crew via different channels
- Liaise with Flight Crew on medical certificate and licensing issues as required; Liaise with Aviation Medicine (AvMed) office / CAD / Approved Medical Assessors on specific cases as required
- Monitor Hong Kong work visa renewal status of Flight Crew and follow up for any delay in renewal
- Liaise with all relevant stakeholders on routine rostering issues; Liaise with all relevant stakeholders on Flight Crew compassionate issues
- Manage purging of physical P-file and People Hub data of Flight Crew
- Responsible for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, cost control and implementation of each project
- Nominated as second alternate as Flight Crew Care Team Leader. Responsible for the duty of care of crewmembers and their families affected by a crisis. Undertake role and responsibilities as defined in the E&A Plan
- Undertake any projects and carry out any other duties as assigned by Flight Crew People Managers; Deputise for the Flight Crew People Managers when required
Requirements
Knowledge
- University Degree Holder in HR or related discipline.
- Good knowledge of the relevant ordinances and best practices to ensure legal and contractual compliance.
- Knowledge of Flight Crew policies and procedures, and a good understanding of the Flight Crew's culture would be an advantage.
Skills
- Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Good Command of both written and spoken English.
- Computer literacy, proficient in MS Office applications.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in people management.
