Your ‘day to day’

We are looking for a diligent and results-oriented Business Planning Analyst (12months contract) to support the Manager of Business Planning for PMI Duty Free business in Asia. As a finance business partner you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial analyses and insights that contribute to the decision-making process of the Asia BU. As a trusted finance business partner, you will collaborate closely with the Asia commercial teams and HQ finance team to drive financial management and performance analysis. Your contributions will be instrumental in shaping the strategic direction of the business and achieving key objectives.

Business Strategy, Planning, Budgeting & Rolling Forecasts

  • Manage the preparation of rolling forecasts and OB, ensuring alignment with strategic plans and incorporating key assumptions.
  • Provide analyses on volume and financial results against budget and provide monthly updates on YTD & RF financials vs Budget / RFs.
  • Support Commercial Planning/B2B teams by providing financial analyses on commercial initiatives, generating scenarios, and making recommendations to achieve objectives.

Pricing

  • Prepare pricing committee approval for proposed pricing initiatives.
  • Oversee the end-to-end process for planned and ad-hoc price change decisions.
  • Collaborate with the Pricing Office to identify pricing opportunities and ensure timely execution throughout the financial year.

Controllable Costs

  • Assist commercial teams in evaluating the return on investment for initiatives, providing guidance and support for investment decisions, and establishing metrics and targets.
  • Present decision options to improve business results, based on clear commercial and functional drivers.
  • Contribute to the development of business and commercial scenarios, considering high-level financial impact.

Reporting And Others

  • Prepare timely and accurate reports on business performance.
  • Support corporate audits by addressing queries and ensuring the availability of requested supporting documents.
  • Handle ad-hoc requests and conduct additional analysis as required.

Who We’re Looking For

  • University degree in quantitative fields: Pure/Applied sciences, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance roles, prior exposure to regional role and working with teams in different geographies
  • Experience in financial planning, analysis, and business partnering roles.
  • Knowledge of financial forecasting, budgeting, and pricing strategies.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
  • Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in the duty-free or retail industry is desirable but not a must.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory.

    • To maintain daily supply chain operations for supply planning team

    Your Responsibilities Will Include

    Include but not limited to

    • Execute and follow up product flow from order placement preparation till fulfillment for both bulk and sample
    • Partner with sourcing team to facilitate buy, deliver goods just in time to hit business target
    • Order maintenance in system by executing in Logility/SAP
    • Partner with Sourcing, Fabric & Product team on materials pre-booking activity and liability management for all buys.

    Academic Qualifications

    • Solid ERP eg. SAP/Logility knowledge and working experience.
    • Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

    ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

    • To maintain daily supply chain operations for supply planning team
    Your Responsibilities Will Include
    Include but not limited to
    • Execute and follow up product flow from order placement preparation till fulfillment for both bulk and sample
    • Partner with sourcing team to facilitate buy, deliver goods just in time to hit business target
    • Order maintenance in system by executing in Logility/SAP
    • Partner with Sourcing, Fabric & Product team on materials pre-booking activity and liability management for all buys.
