Role Purpose
- Perform maintenance requirement task review and manage technical issues in relevant to the maintenance requirement control task including AMS requirements and Engineering order control task, work scope, standard verification with internal/external parties, set up maintenance requirement task control in engineering system, provide implementation plan to INV/ TS/ QA / PLN ops for follow up action on spare & tools, technical requirement, manpower requirement, regulation related etc.
- Define maintenance check packaging rule for all letter/ phase check and base maintenance check, provide a special input work package on a requested basis
- Define LM and BM out of phase task, maintain out of phase list to provide PLN ops team for further LM schedule task implementation
- Set up maintenance requirement task control in engineering system for new/used aircraft induction
- Update AMS (both airframe and component) task control and task interval setting for new AMS revision/TR, verify bridging plan, handover to PLN ops team for LM schedule task implementation or package in standard BM package for further BM input
- Provide upcoming 6 months due list review for MR task, monitor the task implementation status and work with PLN ops team for mid-long term implementation plan
- Perform regular health check to ensure MR data accuracy (time requirement, last done and next due data) in engineering system
- Perform maintenance requirement review based on related maintenance record and setup (both AMS and EO) in both component and major component receiving process.
- Perform AMS variation and EO extension on a requested basic
- Provide MR related performance data in regular AD&EO, AMS meeting, suggest for solution and improvement plan.
- Attend regular AD meeting with QA and TS to provide AD related EO implementation plan with status update and provide AD implementation record in monthly basis
- Feedback EO result to relevant parties, monitor corresponding ICA document update, warranty claim if required
- Coordinate with flight ops team for manual update on related EO accomplishment if required
- Carry out any other work assigned by superior
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Aircraft Engineering & Maintenance
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Airline Engineering Planning or Production Planning & Control (PPC)
- Degree in Engineering or Aviation discipline, or equivalent
- Strong knowledge in AMS/ aircraft maintenance requirement/ aircraft configuration management
- Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Planning Engineer while Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Planning Engineer
