Job Summary
This role focuses on optimizing our sales performance by transforming financial data into actionable business intelligence. The position is responsible for the end-to-end management of sales and financial data-tracking, interpreting, and trend analysis-to provide the sales team with the insights needed to maximize revenue generation. A key component of this role is to ensure the highest standards of data integrity by collaborating closely with Finance and Operations/Support teams.

Key Responsibilities
Strategy

  • Support the Head of Business Planning Management in business planning, formulating budget planning and day to day finance details tracking.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives, new product launches, and market entry assessments using financial data.

Business

  • Partner directly with Regional Head and Market Heads to understand their business challenges and support their data needs.
  • Provide actionable recommendations to the sales team based on data-driven insights to enhance productivity and achieve targets.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales incentive metrics.

Processes

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive suite of performance dashboards and management reports (e.g., daily sales pipelines, weekly revenue tracking, monthly forecasts).
  • Analyze complex financial and sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
  • Interpret data to provide insightful commentary on sales performance, product profitability, and market trends.
  • Build predictive models and scenarios to forecast business performance and support strategic planning.
  • Continuously review and enhance data validation, reconciliation, and reporting processes to improve efficiency, reduce manual intervention, and strengthen the control environment.
  • Ensure all new reports, dashboards, or data sources introduced for performance management are subject to the appropriate governance and control assessment before implementation.

Data Consolidation, Analysis & Reporting

  • Act as the primary liaison between Business Planning Management, Finance, and Backend Support teams for all data-related matters.
  • Establish and enforce robust data governance and validation procedures to ensure the accuracy and consistency of all management information.
  • Lead initiatives to reconcile data discrepancies and improve data quality at the source.
  • Identify and drive process improvements to automate data collection and reporting.

Risk Management

  • Proactively identify, assess, and document operational risks inherent in the data lifecycle, including gaps in data collection, processing errors, and potential for misinterpretation.
  • Analyze performance trends not only for commercial opportunities but also to identify anomalous patterns that may indicate control weaknesses, sales practice issues, or conduct risk.

Governance

  • Coordinate Front Office feedback and specify business requirements in the different financial reports.
  • Improve organizational effectiveness and resources efficiency by observing the financial data trend.
  • Act as the business owner for sales and financial performance data within the team's scope, establishing and enforcing data quality standards.
  • Implement and manage a robust control framework to validate the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all management information, performance dashboards, and financial reports before distribution.
  • Partner with Finance, Data Office, and Technology teams to identify and remediate data quality issues at the source, ensuring a single source of truth for key performance metrics.
  • Document and maintain key data lineages, definitions, and business logic for all critical reports to ensure transparency and auditability.

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Skills And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of proven experience in a business management, finance analytics, or performance management role within private banking or wealth management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing and interpreting large datasets to drive business performance.
  • Strong experience in stakeholder management, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with sales, finance, and operations teams.
