Business Planning and strategies implementation

  • Lead CBG business planning and strategy implementation by working directly with CBG Head, CBMC and key business partners from Finance, CEO Office, T&O, RMG, L&C, etc.;
  • Monitor & report relevant developments related to market dynamics, peers, benchmarks to guide CBMC actions and refine strategy execution;
  • Chair CBMC related meetings and be responsible for delivering follow up actions

Managing through Journeys Implementation

  • Lead CBGHK Managing through Journeys Office to drive Managing through Journeys progress together with Transformation Group and Regional CBG Office;
  • Be the country subject matter expert in Managing through Journeys framework to coach and guide CBG performance cells to develop along the Managing through Journeys Maturity Model;
  • Participate in squad or cell meetings when necessary to provide guidance or intervention to steer Managing through Journeys development

CBG People Initiatives

  • Act as CBG MyVoice Champions and conduct regular reviews with CBMC to derive actions for improving overall BU score;
  • Conduct survey result deep dive (e.g. dipstick survey, MyVoice survey, other ad hoc surveys, etc.) to uncover insights for follow up actions

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience from banking industry or consulting for financial services
  • Good understanding on retail banking products offered by Consumer Banking Group will be a plus
  • Stakeholder Management – Be able to manage multiple senior stakeholders
  • Storytelling - Ability to craft and deliver a compelling narrative
  • Project Management – Be able to plan and deliver cross functional initiatives
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and devise next step actions towards end outcome
  • Strong PowerPoint skills for crafting business narrative
  • Strong data assessment skills to derive insights from multiple dataset
  • Good command of English and Cantonese (Mandarin is a plus)

As of 2023/24, ASTRI has transferred more than 1,500 technologies to the industry and has been granted over 1,100 patents in the Mainland, the US, and other countries.

To support our constant endeavour to position Hong Kong as a world-class smart city and an international hub of innovation and technology, we are seeking qualified professionals to fill the following position(s):

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct 5G network radio planning, including cell site planning, coverage simulations, interference analysis, network optimization, etc.
  • Conduct 5G end-to-end system performance testing and inter-operability testing including:

1.) Set up and operate 5G end-to-end system

2.) Collect and analyze base station and terminal logs; and

3.) Take signal measurements using test equipment such as signal and spectrum analyzers, mobile network scanners, etc.

  • Take part in 5G network deployment including:

1.) Conduct site survey to propose antenna installation plan, network connection plan, cable routing plan, etc.; and

2.) Propose network optimization based on field conditions such as call-drop rate

Job Requirements:

  • PhD or Master’s degree holder in Computer Science, Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or relevant disciplines with a minimum of 3 years of related experience
  • Candidates with fewer experiences may also be considered
  • Knowledge of 4G/5G standards (such as 3GPP and O-RAN) are preferred
  • Experience in design, implementation, operating, securing and troubleshooting wireless networks, and operation of 4G/5G base station and core network is preferred
  • Solid knowledge in information theory, signal processing, stochastic process, antennas and propagation, and microwave theory techniques is a plus
  • Experience in the use of testing equipment such as signal generators, signal and spectrum analysers, and mobile network scanners is preferred
  • Mobile network operator work experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English, Cantonese and, Mandarin

We are looking for an experienced Planning Manager to oversee our planning operations. This position will concentrate on improving demand forecasting, managing inventory levels, and streamlining supply planning processes to enhance efficiency and support growth. Key Responsibilities:

Demand Planning

  • Drive the monthly demand forecast process

  • Conduct forecast accuracy analysis and support sales team in improving their forecast

Supply planning

  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and products
  • Manage production MOQ constraints and find opportunities with sales team to meet requirements
  • Maintain lead time, MOQ and inventory coverage policies to optimize stock turn

Inventory management

Job Responsibilities

Demand Planning & Forecasting

  • Responsible for Asia Pacific consensus forecast/ S&OP including Commercial/ Marketing/ Finance/ Operations/ Regulatory tied to revenue/ LBE
  • Act as a major contributor in the regional supply chain forecasting and planning process
  • Lead monthly S&OP review meetings with country planners and challenge the assumptions and numbers provided by an analysis in order to solicit functional knowledge to improve forecast accuracy
  • Attend S&OP meeting with Global demand planners for consolidating regional forecast

Supply Planning

  • Responsible for inventory optimization in Asia Pacific by initiating inventory redeployment and returns of short UBD and excess stock
  • Act as SNP super user for project initiates and attend monthly meeting
  • Centralize to setup SNP parameters in ERP system
  • Follow up critical supply request and shipments with global for countries
  • Escalate supply issues with global planner, distribution centers and global supply chain teams

Inventory Control

  • Coordinate inventory allocation and/or transfer during times of supply constrain or in excess
  • Communicate implementation plans (and relevant changes) to countries consistent with regional marketing & integrated business plans
  • Review safely stock and inventory level and drive follow up action with countries
  • Monitor DOH and drive follow up action with countries
  • Monitor Line Fill Rate and drive follow up action with countries
  • Work closely with Regional Demand Planning on Supply Chain initiatives
  • Contribute to phase-in/phase-out. Communicate implementation plans (and relevant changes) to geographies consistent with Regional Marketing & integrated business plans
  • Responsible for product rationalization recommendation and execution
  • Ownership of Inventory as a result of S&OP and consensus plans
  • Planning of the inventory levels (DIOH)
  • Planning of scrap targets and slow moving inventory usage recommendation (high level).
  • Planning of inventory UBD pipeline and replenishment strategy for consignment
  • Responsible to support the reposition of inventory within region or global and its impact on total demand

Reporting

  • Create KPI reports on sales/demand forecast accuracy, run-rate, inventory and supply including inventory level, DOH, short UBD and expiries
  • Maintain forecasts and planning factors in demand planning system

Continuous Improvement

  • Execute continuous improvement of forecasting process while maintaining costs and scrap rate at appropriate level
  • DOH, UBD and expires improvement
  • Provide trainings to team members to enhance quality of work

Requirements: Education and Experience

  • Bachelor degree in business/operations management/supply chain/equivalent
  • 5 to 7 years relevant demand/supply forecasting/planning experience
  • Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced changing environment
  • Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment
  • Proven success in improving work processes, leading change and role models positive behaviors as well as change agent skills in a complex and fast paced environment
  • Experience working in a broader enterprise/cross division business unit model preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization, including English communication skills
  • Multi-tasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner
  • Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills and ability to hold others accountable
  • Strong conflict resolution skills to achieve results through cross-functional groups

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Reach and exceed yearly events budget as well as upsell target as assigned.
  • Work closely with the MICE sales team, offering advice regarding logistics to assist in lead conversion, VIP site inspections and key opportunities, in an effort to maximize hotel revenue.
  • Professionally manage all assigned group or events bookings from contract handover to completion, including food & beverage and bedroom elements.
  • Conduct an informative handover with the MICE sales team and Event Sales team for a seamless and timely introduction to the clients.
  • Qualify additional event space requests while balancing and maintaining appreciation of overall business with price integrity.
  • Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Event Planning Manager

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a sizeable luxury hotel and catering group with 2 years in similar capacity
  • Detail oriented, organized and able to handle a fast paced environment
  • Possess excellent guest services skills, professional presentation and sophisticated interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal billingual communication skills is a must (both English and Chinese)
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Event Planning Manager
