Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive support to Private Banking Relationship Managers in daily client service and administrative tasks
• Supporting Relationship Managers in managing existing investment portfolios, investment ideas & research sourcing and developing new business;
• Support RMs in completing KYC/ CDD review, credit application and related documentation
• Handle pre-trade, trade execution and post-trade; ensure proper booking, settlement and delivery;
• Handle client onboarding process, particularly account opening documentation with HNW/ UHNW customers;
• Participate in client meetings and provide support to the RM during the onboarding process for new clients;
• Continuously develop knowledge of financial products and services, industry trends, and investment strategie;
• Assist in other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Business/Finance/Economics or related discipline;
• At least 4 year of work experience; experience as a ARM / RM Assistant/ Sales support within Private Banking sector is preferred;
• Knowledge in private banking products, client facing, client profiling and relevant sales documents;
• A positive learning and working attitude with a flexible mindset;
• Good command of written and spoken Mandarin and Cantonese and English.

Job Description:

• Responsible for new client onboarding, existing client periodic review/ trigger event, etc for Private Banking clients;
• Managing the end-to-end process of new account requests, including case review and follow-through until account setup is complete;
• Review a wide range of account opening and client documentation submitted by frontline to ensure accuracy, completeness and in line with the Bank's compliance and KYC requirements and well as the regulatory requirements;
• Review clients' source of wealth (SOW) profiles, conducting background checks, and verifying supporting documents to ensure proper corroboration of SOW;
• Ensure accurate data entry and proper document upload into the onboarding system;
• Work as a team and collaborate with all relevant departments to ensure PB business comply with the AML requirements.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related disciplines;
• At least 5 years of experience in account opening/ account reviews including KYC / SOW review within the financial services industry. Preferably within the Private Banking industry;
• Good knowledge of private banking products and good understanding of relevant HKMA and SFC rules, regulations, practices and guidelines would be an advantage;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills;
• A good team player with strong business acumen and analytical skills;
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline;
• Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese, fluent in Putonghua is preferable.
