Job Description

1.Category Strategy and Business Planning:

-Develop and execute annual/quarterly business plans for assigned categories (e.g., Air Conditioners, Refrigerators & Washing Machines, Black Appliances, Kitchen Appliances), defining and delivering on sales, gross margin, and market share targets.

-Conduct in-depth market analysis, user research, and competitive benchmarking to formulate long-term category development and product strategies (e.g., key brands and price segments to focus on, strategies for developing blockbuster products).

2.Supplier and Supply Chain Management:

-Core Supplier Management: Lead high-level strategic partnership negotiations with headquarters or core distributors of leading brands such as Haier, Midea, Gree, Sony, and TCL.

-Business Negotiation: Negotiate for optimal procurement costs, exclusive product offerings, and maximized market development funds (MDF) and promotional support.

-Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate with the supply chain team to manage key metrics including inventory turnover, in-stock rate, and stockout rate, optimizing overall inventory health.

3.Marketing Activities and Traffic Operations:

-Serve as the business owner for the assigned category during mega-promotions (e.g., 618, Double 11), leading the end-to-end planning encompassing product assortment, promotion mechanics, traffic acquisition, pricing strategies, and post-campaign performance analysis.

-Conceptualize and execute major marketing events such as Category Super New Product Launches and Brand Days, leveraging integrated on-site and off-site marketing resources (e.g., social media, OOH advertising) to create industry-leading marketing campaigns.

4.Team and Cross-Department Collaboration:

Collaborate effectively with various internal departments (Marketing, Logistics, Finance, Platform Ecosystem, Customer Service) to resolve complex issues and ensure a seamless customer journey from procurement to after-sales service.

5.Data-Driven Operations:

Monitor daily core operational data (GMV, gross margin, sell-through rate, conversion rate, etc.); identify business opportunities and risks through data analysis and implement prompt operational adjustments.

Qualifications & Requirements

1.Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in merchandising/operations for major appliances within a large B2C e-commerce platform (e.g., , Tmall, Fortress, Broadway) or in sales/channel management with a leading appliance brand (e.g., Haier, Midea, Gree).

2.Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the major appliance industry, including product knowledge, technology trends, competitive landscape, and pricing structures.

3.Business Planning and Strategy: Proven business acumen with the ability to formulate clear category strategies and translate them into actionable execution plans.

4.Results-Oriented and Resilient: Strong sense of ownership over performance targets. Must thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure e-commerce environment and be driven to exceed goals.
