Job Description
HKGBC is expanding its secretariat team in line with its positioning as Hong Kong's leading member-based body dedicated to green building development, with opening for the post of Project Assistant :
Supporting the Project Officer to plan and implement the ECF-funded project – Green Building Education and Capacity Building Programmes (ECF Project).
- Assist to plan and implement the ECF Project activities including:
- Launching ceremony including event management, placing of advertorials and advertising using social media
- Promotion talks at tertiary education institutes
- Production of career promotion videos
- Green building foundation certificate course
- Micro-credential topical short courses
- Green building tours
- Assist to administer surveys to measure the effectiveness of the programmes
- Assist to compile reports for reporting progress to the ECF fund
- A good University degree in a relevant subject
- Strong interest in developing a career in environmental education and promotion
- Previous experience in organising similar activities would be an advantage
- Previous experience in video and graphic processing would be an advantage
- Outreaching personality and good interpersonal skills
- Good command of English and Chinese

- Providing timely and accurate clerical services such as typing, filing, photocopying, scanning, document dispatching, data entry, and simple report generation.
- Maintaining an efficient filing system and conducting monthly internal cross-checks.
- Supporting the supervisor in maintaining office equipment, including coordinating repairs, renovations, and refurbishments.
- Facilitating the application and monitoring of staff airport and vehicle permits.
- Managing staff claims, stationery, and hygiene supplies.
- Assisting project teams in preparing proposals and tender submissions.
- Maintaining and updating project files, documents, and databases accurately during project execution.
- Consolidating and cross-checking duty rosters from different project teams.

- Knowledge of Oracle or Power Apps is advantageous.
- Organized, independent, and capable of working under pressure.
- Good attitude with a helpful and supportive manner.
- Experience working in airport environments is preferred.
- Less experienced candidates may be considered for lower roles.

- To support business development teams in sales operation tasks.
- To assist business development teams in collection of information and data inputs as required for exhibitors’ applications.
- To conduct reminder calls to follow up on matters related to exhibitors’ participation such as payment, booth selection, product photos, e-badge registration.
- To support Scan2Match and Click2Match training for exhibitors and sales agents.
- To provide on-site support and perform ad-hoc duties as assigned when necessary.
Requirements:
- University graduate or above in any disciplines.
- 1 year’s relevant working experience is preferred; fresh graduates will also be considered.
- Good written and spoken English and Chinese; fluent in Putonghua.
- Proficient in MS Office including Excel in particular and Chinese word processing.
- A team player with good interpersonal skills, outgoing and customer-oriented.
- Good numeric abilities, meticulous, independent, well-organised and self-motivated.
- Willing to work overtime and on weekends or public holidays as necessary.
Remuneration and Benefits:
The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed-term contract basis, renewable subject to operational needs. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
