  • Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to conduct daily communications fluently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Overseas study or work experience.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / PMO Lead at Vice President level to drive the AI-driven transformation of our Finance function. Your role

To succeed in your role

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years leading large-scale transformation or technology-driven projects for Finance in sizeable or listed corporations.
  • Expertise in change management and business process re-engineering (BPR) to modernize legacy systems and workflows.
  • Proven track record in change management, stakeholder alignment, and conducting business process re-engineering within regulated organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating AI or digital technologies into legacy operations is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with AI/automation in Finance (e.g., robotic process automation, predictive analytics) is highly desirable.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Computer Science, Communications, Information Technology, Management, or Law.
  • 5+ years of experience in business operations, compliance management, or related fields; telecommunications industry experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using data analysis tools.
  • Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to conduct daily communications fluently.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and stress management skills, with the ability to adapt to international travel.
  • Global vision and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • High professional ethics and standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Overseas study or work experience.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, CIPP/E, ITIL.
  • Familiarity with DICT (Digital Information and Communications Technology) business models or international operations of telecommunications carriers.

Vice President, Project Management – AI Transformation

Role summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / PMO Lead at Vice President level to drive the AI-driven transformation of our Finance function. The ideal candidate will lead the end-to-end transformation program, ensuring alignment with business objectives while managing change, risks, and stakeholder expectations.

Your role

  • Lead the planning, execution, and governance of AI-driven transformation projects within the Finance unit.
  • Oversee project scope, budget, timeline, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with company and regulatory standards.
  • Establish and manage the PMO framework, ensuring structured project tracking, reporting, and risk mitigation.
  • Drive coordination among Finance, IT, and business stakeholders for smooth integration of AI solutions into legacy systems and manual processes.
  • Collaborate with Finance leadership, IT, and external vendors to align transformation initiatives with business needs.
  • Design, implement, and monitor change management activities to support adoption, including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and training strategies.
  • Develop project documentation, risk assessments, and reporting mechanisms tailored to a highly regulated, listed company environment.
  • Anticipate and resolve project roadblocks, especially those arising from complex approval processes, legacy systems, and entrenched policy landscapes.
  • Drive change management strategies to overcome resistance and ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.

To succeed in your role

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years leading large-scale transformation or technology-driven projects for Finance in sizeable or listed corporations.
  • Expertise in change management and business process re-engineering (BPR) to modernize legacy systems and workflows.
  • Proven track record in change management, stakeholder alignment, and conducting business process re-engineering within regulated organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating AI or digital technologies into legacy operations is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with AI/automation in Finance (e.g., robotic process automation, predictive analytics) is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Finance operations, compliance, and regulatory environments in Hong Kong.
  • Resilient leader capable of navigating complex approval processes and legacy mindsets.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English/Cantonese; Mandarin advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • To lead and manage critical and large-scale project
  • Assist team head to review, update and enrich the project management, application development and related documents
  • To work closely with stakeholders, vendors and business users
  • Formulate overall project plan and monitor project milestones, boost the teams to run the project as planned and conduct process management.
  • Lead detailed work plan preparation for each stage of the project, and keep monitoring the progress and risks
  • Arrange cross department project meetings with IT and Business Departments to coordinate participation of related parties in project implementation timely, and lead project team to conduct regular status reporting.
  • Follow-up and review the status of project deliverables collection.
  • Conduct vendor management work during project implementation.
  • Assist team head to update and enrich project management, application development (SDLC) and related documents
  • Perform other adhoc projects or assignments

Requirements

  • University graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in IT project management experience preferably in banking / financial sector
  • Possess both technical and managerial competencies to resolve day to daily project issue
  • Strong in problem-solving, project management and communication skills
  • Good team player with strong interpersonal skills and able to work with stakeholders at different levels
  • Good command in both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
  • Holder of PMP Certification is preferable
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Vice President, Project Management Office

About You

You should have:

  • Project Management Certification (i.e. PMI) or Scrum Master Certification (Scale Agile, Scrum, SAFe, etc)
  • Minimum of 3 years of Agile Project Methodology experience
  • For P4, 5-10 Years Experience with 2 years in a PM-related role
  • For P5, 8-12 Years Experience with 5 years in a PM-related role
  • Experience in working with offshore development centres is an advantage
  • Strong English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in Cantonese is required and Putonghua (written and spoken) is an advantage
  • Project Management / Delivery Tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Excel, Project)
  • Project delivery methodology (Agile and Waterfall
