Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Computer Science, Communications, Information Technology, Management, or Law.
  • 5+ years of experience in business operations, compliance management, or related fields; telecommunications industry experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using data analysis tools.
  • Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to conduct daily communications fluently.

  • Proven leadership and excellent interpersonal skills across all levels of organization and able to lead projects independently is required.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills required, able to balance the competing requirements of a wide variety of stakeholders and yet meeting delivery timeline and budget.
  • Able to make decision independently as well as familiar with local statutory requirements, building codes and submission procedures.
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese.

Role summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / PMO Lead at Vice President level to drive the AI-driven transformation of our Finance function. The ideal candidate will lead the end-to-end transformation program, ensuring alignment with business objectives while managing change, risks, and stakeholder expectations.

Your role

To succeed in your role

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years leading large-scale transformation or technology-driven projects for Finance in sizeable or listed corporations.
  • Expertise in change management and business process re-engineering (BPR) to modernize legacy systems and workflows.
  • Proven track record in change management, stakeholder alignment, and conducting business process re-engineering within regulated organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating AI or digital technologies into legacy operations is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with AI/automation in Finance (e.g., robotic process automation, predictive analytics) is highly desirable.

Vice President, Project Management – AI Transformation

Role summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / PMO Lead at Vice President level to drive the AI-driven transformation of our Finance function. The ideal candidate will lead the end-to-end transformation program, ensuring alignment with business objectives while managing change, risks, and stakeholder expectations.

Your role

  • Lead the planning, execution, and governance of AI-driven transformation projects within the Finance unit.
  • Oversee project scope, budget, timeline, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with company and regulatory standards.
  • Establish and manage the PMO framework, ensuring structured project tracking, reporting, and risk mitigation.
  • Drive coordination among Finance, IT, and business stakeholders for smooth integration of AI solutions into legacy systems and manual processes.
  • Collaborate with Finance leadership, IT, and external vendors to align transformation initiatives with business needs.
  • Design, implement, and monitor change management activities to support adoption, including stakeholder engagement, communication planning, and training strategies.
  • Develop project documentation, risk assessments, and reporting mechanisms tailored to a highly regulated, listed company environment.
  • Anticipate and resolve project roadblocks, especially those arising from complex approval processes, legacy systems, and entrenched policy landscapes.
  • Drive change management strategies to overcome resistance and ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.

To succeed in your role

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years leading large-scale transformation or technology-driven projects for Finance in sizeable or listed corporations.
  • Expertise in change management and business process re-engineering (BPR) to modernize legacy systems and workflows.
  • Proven track record in change management, stakeholder alignment, and conducting business process re-engineering within regulated organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience integrating AI or digital technologies into legacy operations is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with AI/automation in Finance (e.g., robotic process automation, predictive analytics) is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Finance operations, compliance, and regulatory environments in Hong Kong.
  • Resilient leader capable of navigating complex approval processes and legacy mindsets.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English/Cantonese; Mandarin advantageous.

We are seeking a highly capable and driven professional to serve as Director, Project Management, CEO Office. This role will support the Head of Business Management, CEO Office in leading key strategic projects across Asia Wealth and Asset Management. The role is responsible for ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of cross-functional initiatives aligned with the region’s strategic priorities.

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead the direction, coordination, implementation, and completion of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategy, goals, and commitments.
  • Coordinate and manage workstreams assigned by the Head of Business Management, CEO Office, even when ownership resides within another business unit.
  • Oversee execution of key strategic and cross-functional projects, which include:
  • Defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and required resources
  • Creating and maintaining project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Building and managing cross-functional project teams
  • Allocating or recommending resource assignments
  • Monitoring project performance and quality assurance
  • Managing risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Reporting project status and updates to stakeholders
  • Presenting progress, challenges, and recommended solutions to senior leadership
  • Managing change processes to meet evolving project needs
  • Evaluating and assessing outcomes upon project completion
  • Coordinate across markets and functions to ensure alignment and on-time delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in financial services, consulting, or corporate strategy
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and supporting senior leadership
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in project planning, risk management, and time management
  • Experience in strategic planning and/or change management
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Experience resolving conflicts and managing multiple stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
  • Experience in Asia and exposure to asset or wealth management is preferred

Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with vertical heads to shape business priorities and communicate its implementation via regular newsletter release

  • Reviewing and streamlining current business procedures and identifying issues that could affect the achievement of business objectives
  • Develop and execute the Sales L&D strategy in line with Maersk strategic objectives

  • Recommend training and development activities to drive individual and Area wide capability development
  • Implement CEN L&D methods (e.g., coaching, workshops, digital training) as needed
  • Establish and maintain performance evaluation method to validate knowledge transfer and return on investment
  • Foster a learning culture and generate engagement in Sales L&D programs through strategic communication and effective stakeholder management
  • Collaborate closely with the Commercial Academy and other L&D stakeholders on the development and delivery of global programs
  • Facilitate Sales On-boarding and training in the Area as needed
  • Maintain an Area learning content repository to promote on-demand learning

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of business operations and procedures, logistics industry’s background is a plus
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and good at market research and data analysis
  • Superb business writing and good communication and project management skills
  • 5+years of working experience
  • Proficiency in business-level English, both verbal and written
