Food Angel is a food rescue and food assistance program launched in 2011 by Bo Charity Foundation with the mission of "Waste Not, Hunger Not, With Love". The program rescues edible surplus food from different sectors of the food industry that would otherwise be disposed of as waste. Following strict safety protocols, the rescued food items will then be prepared as nutritious hot meals in our central kitchens and be redistributed to serve the underprivileged communities in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities
Implementing and ensuring products and factory operations comply with local quality specifications, policies, and government regulations, including but not limited to food labels, nutritional tables, HACCP, ISO22000, etc
Developing and implementing in-factory food safety plans, leading risk analyses, and driving continuous improvement on the production line.
Providing technical quality support for new product development from pilot to factory scale-up.
Investigating internal non-conformances and customer complaints, executing effective corrective and preventive actions.
Inspecting and approving raw materials, in-process semi-finished, and finished products.
Monitoring the entire factory production flow, including equipment cleaning schedules, hygiene practices, and pest control.
Auditing and ensuring compliance of co-manufacturers and key material suppliers.
Leading all factory audits (internal, external, regulatory) and preparing detailed performance reports for management.
Training, developing, and coaching production and operations staff on quality and safety procedures.
Requirements
Bachelor degree in Food Science / Food Safety / Nutrition or related discipline with relevant professional qualification.
Minimum 12 years' working experience, preferably in Catering industry, with 3 years in managerial capacity. Working experience in a food factory setting is advantageous
As qualified ISO 22000:2018 internal auditor and experienced to follow external audit
Solid experience in the set up and implementation of ISO22000:2018 , HACCP and other food hygiene and occupational safety regulatory in HK.
Conformity to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
Self-motivated, well organized, detail-minded, have good interpersonal skills and communication skills.
Strong leadership, influence management, negotiating and presentation skills
Fluent in written and spoken Cantonese and English
Good knowledge of office computer apps (Excel, Word, etc.)
Passionate in Social Service and highly enthusiastic about environmental protection
