We are looking for a Quality Control Manager to Join our Global Quality Assurance team in Hong Kong, reporting directly to the Director of Quality Assurance. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that our toy products comply with the legal and regulatory requirements across different markets. This position leads a dedicated team of Inspectors and plays a key role in both operational execution and strategic planning. The role demands a proactive approach to quality assurance, with a strong focus on continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle—from design and development to production and distribution.

• Development QA
• Lead and mentor a team of Inspectors, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Development, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.
• Apply QC standards throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with the defined development process.
• Manage and maintain all QC-related documentation for products.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential safety or compliance issues

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in Quality Control or Assurance, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within the toy, consumer goods, or related manufacturing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of global toy safety standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., EN71, ASTM F963, ISO 8124).
• Proven experience in managing quality teams and implementing quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Experience with supplier quality management and third-party testing labs is highly desirable.

Qualifications

Required

• 8+ years in Software QA/Testing, with 3+ years leading teams/projects.
• Strong grasp of SDLC/Agile, test design techniques (boundary, equivalence, combinatorial), and risk-based testing.
• Hands-on automation leadership with one or more frameworks (Playwright/Cypress/Selenium/Appium) and solid API testing (Postman/RestAssured).
• CI/CD experience (GitHub/GitLab/Jenkins), version control (Git), and familiarity with containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with test management and defect tracking (e.g., TestRail/Zephyr, Jira) and delivering clear quality dashboards/KPIs.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and coaching abilities.

• Domain experience in (fintech/healthcare/e-commerce/SaaS/IoT) and microservices/contract testing (e.g., Pact).
