Responsibilities:
- Perform routine on-line checking on raw materials, semi- and finished food products.
- Perform on-line checking at various stages in production line to implement ISO / HACCP policy.
- Support to implement and maintain documentation system and quality management system.
- Coordinate and participate work safety, quality assurance and hygiene procedures training to related staff.
- Support the implementation of food safety, hygiene and quality assurance operation policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure the entire production process is in compliance with the corporate standard.
- Investigate and follow-up the complaint case, which related to food safety and quality aspect.
- Coordinate and regularly review the performance of pest control condition and follow-up with contractor.

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years experiences in relevant QA / QC experience, exposure of food factory operations will be an advantage.
- Familiar with quality assurance systems (HACCP / ISO22000).
- Self-motivated, independent, excellent problem solving skills, and with good communication skill.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy, working under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in PC applications, including Chinese word and excel processing;
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese / Cantonese;

- Production of high quality, insightful Management Information to operations management to enable targeted changes to customer services training and processes.
- Identification, escalation and remediation of customer conduct issues identified through the QA process.
- Formulate findings based on assurance activities on controls and work with the business to agree appropriate improvement actions. Identify good and improvement areas about call quality upon monitored various types of calls and suggest follow-up actions for enhancement.
- Support the Control and Quality Assurance team to prepare reports which describe risks, findings and agreed actions and to finalise these reports for distribution to the business.

- Support control owners to complete Control Owner Self-assessment ("CSA") and monitor the completion of CSA.
- Provide contribute to improvements in the creation and maintenance of data analysis and methodology.
- Maintain stakeholder network across the business to enable the completion of the Control testing and Quality Assurance plan.
- Support the Director of Governance and Control in communicating the role of assurance across the three lines of defence, and the required capabilities within the first line.
- Complete Bupa training as required, and attend arranged training and information sessions in order to maintain knowledge of regulatory obligations. Individual reading may be required in order to understand the regulatory environment and obligations.
- Other responsibilities as directed by the Director of Governance and Control.
Qualifications, Training and Experience
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in control testing or quality assurance, or telemarketing, sales, customer service, claims, pre-authorisation experience in insurance industry.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects of varying length concurrently.
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Cantonese with ability to present articulately with appropriate level of gravitas.
- Good presentation, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Good data analytical skills.

Overview:
As a QA Engineer based in Hong Kong, you will be expected to demonstrate professional quality assurance standards and practice to the organization. You will also be expected to administer, analyse and collate all required quality documentations in a timely and compliant manner, working collaboratively across departments and support teams. The ideal QA Engineer will possess QA experience, with sound QA/Regulatory standards and understanding. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the R&D Manager in ensuring all functional quality support is carried out in accordance to practice/protocol to meet overall business deliverables
- Collaborate independently and effectively with external vendors and internal stakeholders on factory expectations or programs as assigned by R&D Manager
- Collation of all related quality assurance documentations (i.e. lab test summary, inspection/performance summary, CAP etc) and ensure timely report upload
- Generate the required report for evaluation, factory performance and passing rate reports etc. on a timely basis
- Collate and verify data from the evaluation report and provide preliminary summary of findings and conclusion in a timely basis; track all evaluation report record and resolutions
- Assist in defining and verifying corrective action plans (CAP) with related internal parties
- Ensure that corrective measures and documentations adhere to reliability standard and compliance
- Assist in conducting reviews and maintain company's quality evaluation and control system requirements; track metric status set by the R&D Manager
- Assist and provide suggestions on specific lab testing requirements, activities and participate in follow-up/action plan with the help of internal/external parties
- Ensure appropriate escalation to either seniors, management or other supporting teams for the required follow-up or action
- Record and file all data and reports thoroughly
- Assist in ad-hoc activities or projects as tasked by R&D Manager in areas of testing, process flow enhancements etc.
Requirements/ Qualifications:
- Degree in Science / Manufacturing / Industrial / Quality Engineering or relevant disciplines
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in a quality assurance related scope, preferably within the consumable/chemical industry
- Relevant experience with internal and product auditing process is preferred
- Knowledge of ISO9001, IATF16949 / Six-Sigma / MBNQA will be an advantage
- Good communication & interpersonal skills as a team player
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin), showcasing strong language and writing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Access, Power Point, Excel, and Project)
- Good prioritization and organization skills, analytical and meticulous
- Able to work independently and cohesively within a team
- Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior QA Engineer
