The Job

• Supervise a team of Assistant Chemist and Technician daily testing work in organic testing on Softline, Toys, Hardgoods and Electrical products
• Monitor the TAT and maintain a smooth daily operation
• Review test results and draft reports
• Prepare SOP, develop and validate test methods.
• Provide training to the individual of technical staff on the aspects of test methods and instruments
• Answer technical enquiries and provide technical advice to internal parties
  

• Degree or above in Analytical Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry/ Environmental Science
• At least 3 years’ experience in testing laboratory on operation with supervisory experience is a plus
• With hands on experiences in operating and maintaining GC-MS and LC-MS
• With experience in consumable goods testing is preferable
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
• Highly independent, mature & adaptation to high pressure working environment

Reporting to Manager Client Service and Program Management and working as part of our CS team. At QIMA, we see the role as maintaining good relations with clients and coordinating work efficiently to ensure high levels of service quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain client relationships to enhance customer service experience and ensure service quality and efficient operations;
• Deliver tailor-made and one-stop consumable testing plan services by closely following up client’s needs; Provide timely resolution of issues from client;
• Provide in-team training and prepare training materials to ensure the testing service quality
• Oversee client’s programs; Prepare client’s summary and report;
• Support Sales Team to solve the enquiries and problems with consistency and accuracy;
• Handle ad-hoc assignment as required.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Sciences (Chemistry, Physics, Material Sciences)
• 5+ years working experience; experience in testing laboratory is preferred
• Knowledge of toy or consumer products standards/ requirements in various countries is preferred
• Experience in Testing assignment plan
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skill
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese
• Self-initiated, independent and a good team player

• Provide telephone support after office hours when needed or emergency situations arise.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned by the company based on business needs.
  
  

• Holder of a Registered Electrical Worker license (Grade A or above).
• Holder of a Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card).
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in one of the following areas: Electrical, MVAC, or Plumbing & Drainage systems.
• Hands-on repair and maintenance experience in one of the following areas: Electrical, MVAC, or Plumbing & Drainage systems.
• Relevant experience in supermarket or retail environments is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Proficiency in written Chinese and spoken Cantonese is essential.

職責

• 負責貨物處理系統(包括機械及電子等項目)的例行保養、更換部件及緊急維修
• 分配工作予技術員並帶領團隊進行檢修工作
• 監督工程承辦商並確保其依照公司要求及安全準則施工
• 撰寫簡單設備表現報告予工程師
• 協助上級測試、跟進和驗收工程項目
• 整理及妥善保存維修保養的文件
• 執行其他上級指派的工程相關工作
  
  

• 具2年以上任何機械工程或電子工程維修經驗，及前線管理經驗
• 持有機械/電子/機電工程相關證書或文憑
• 基本英語，能閱讀及書寫簡單英文
  
  

• 輪班制，一星期工作六天
  
  

• 農曆年花紅、酌情花紅、交通津貼、加班津貼、年度安全獎金、季度特別出勤獎金、僱主額外強積金供款、醫療保障 – 包括家屬、自願性牙科保健 – 包括家屬、人壽保險、生日假期、額外有薪年假、勞工及公眾假期、婚假、初生嬰兒禮物、體育館、免費穿梭巴士
