Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS
- Oversee and review consolidation entries, ensuring accuracy and proper elimination of intercompany transactions
- Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations related to consolidation (e.g., intercompany balances, investments in subsidiaries, etc.)
- Prepare group-level reports and analyses, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs), providing insights to management
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation for the group audit
- Collaborate with subsidiary accounting teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial data
- Undertake special projects and ad hoc analyses as required by senior management or business needs
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is highly preferred
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) is highly preferred
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with experience in group reporting or consolidation preferred. Experience in audit is a plus
- Strong understanding of IFRS and consolidated financial reporting principles
- Experience with accounting systems; experience with NetSuite is highly desirable
- Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented and organised
