About The Opportunity
The Director of Business Intelligence (BI) will lead the development and execution of the company’s BI strategy, driving data-driven decision-making across all business units. The Director will collaborate with cross-functional leadership to enhance strategic planning, operational efficiency, and market competitiveness, with a focus on leveraging data to support growth in the industry
Responsibilities
- Strategic BI Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive BI strategy tailored to the business objectives, ensuring alignment with market dynamics and organizational priorities.
- Deep Business Understanding: Leverage in-depth knowledge of the crypto exchange business, including trading, market trends, and regulatory requirements, to provide relevant and impactful data insights that drive decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison with Business Operations (BO) and Product teams, translating business needs into data-driven solutions and fostering strong communication to ensure alignment and actionable outcomes.
- Task Management and Delegation: Assign and oversee data requests from BO and other stakeholders, tasking Data Analysts (DA) and Data Visualizers (DV) to generate insights, dashboards, and reports, while ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Team Leadership and Coordination: Manage and mentor a team of Data Analysts, Data Visualizers, and Data Scientists, fostering collaboration across these functions to deliver cohesive BI solutions, including advanced analytics, data models, and visualizations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present complex data insights and recommendations to C-suite executives, BO, and Product teams in a clear and actionable manner, serving as the voice of data within the organization.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive innovation in BI processes, tools, and methodologies, staying ahead of the industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance data capabilities and team performance.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experienced in business intelligence, data analytics, or related roles, with experience in a leadership position.
- Proven expertise in BI tools and data platformsUnderstanding of the cryptocurrency, blockchain, or fintech industries, with experience analyzing market and customer data in these sectors.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and scaling high-performing teams.
- Advanced knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, SQL, and programming languages such as Python or R.

Key Responsibilities
The exact responsibilities will vary depending on the role offered. However, we broadly look for the below skills when considering applicants for all our positions:
- Manage complex open source and human intelligence-led investigative assignments (including pre-transactional integrity due diligence checks and other bespoke investigations);
- Write concise and cogent reports that weave in research findings with an in-depth contextualized analysis of key issues and other pertinent findings;
- Deliver written and verbal briefings to senior management and clients on research findings;
- Prepare proposals for new business;
- Support the development of Anthesis Business Intelligence’s human source network in Asia; and
- Once comfortable with Anthesis Business Intelligence’s house style and research methodologies, assist in training new team members and proofreading reports.
We require as a minimum these qualifications and experience:
- Fluency reading and writing English in a commercial context and at least one key regional language;
- 1-6 years’ full-time post-graduate work experience in the corporate intelligence industry and/or another relevant investigative background;
- Experience using open source research tools such as LexisNexis and Factiva, as well as regional and language-specific databases and media sources;
- Ability to plan and manage multifaceted research projects from the proposal stage to delivering our work to the client;
- A working knowledge of financial, commercial and legal concepts;
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited university; and
- Professional proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
- A keen interest in Asian and international affairs and business;
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
- A proactive, can-do mindset and willingness to work outside job specifications when required;

About The Role
The jobholder is responsible for driving High Net Worth (HNW) customers' sales growth through handling the premium financing case management and supporting relevant workflows. He / She also helps to provide strategic insights backed by data and develop relevant tools / reports to measure sales performance and campaign effectiveness.
Roles And Responsibilities
Premium Financing Support
- Handle the premium financing arrangements from identifying bank partners, developing the workflow, to the day-to-day case management activities
- Handle premium financing enquires from distribution channels
- Perform internal governance control and prepare sales tracking reports
- Support the development of sales & marketing strategies to achieve growth in both market share and financial performance for HNW & Unit-Linked businesses (ULB)
- Work with sales teams to develop sales tools and channel forecasts to achieve targets in ANP, case count, producer count and other KPIs determined from time to time
- Perform in-depth analysis to generate business insights that help formulate sales strategies
- Support ULB and other proposition development projects and the development of business case
- Deliver tracking reports that leads to action to achieve sales target, providing timely information for sales teams to support their business development
- Perform any other duties and projects as assigned
- University graduate plus 3-4 years’ experience in HNW and/or ULB
- Solid experience in managing premium financing cases and workflow
- Strong capabilities in performing data analysis and generating business insights
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Sound knowledge on insurance products, wealth management solutions and the HNW segment
- Ability to work under pressure on multiple priorities
- You are required to obtain relevant licence(s) if your job involves regulated activities
