We are seeking a high-impact Strategy Manager to lead the next phase of growth for our DFI-Q Retail Media business. You will own our multi-year strategic roadmap, turning insights into scalable commercial and product initiatives. The candidate will develop PowerPoint updates to senior management, analyse trends, develop business plans and financial projections. Additionally, the role also includes business development responsibilities, engaging with some key accounts on annual planning, participating in industry conferences and becoming an industry tough leader.

The challenge is to:
- Strategic Roadmap Ownership: Define and evolve the long-term Retail Media strategy, ensuring alignment with company-wide priorities and growth targets
- Commercial Planning & Business Cases: Build business cases for new revenue streams, partnerships, and commercial models using data and financial analysis
- Market & Competitor Insights: Conduct deep market research and competitive benchmarking to identify whitespace and guide positioning
- Client Strategy & Advisory: Support sales and client teams with strategic input, pitch development, and advisory client engagements
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain client relationships, shaping their Retail Media strategy and identifying upsell opportunities
- Cross-Functional Execution: Collaborate across Product, Tech, Ad Ops, and Data to translate strategic plans into executable initiatives
- Thought Leadership & Enablement: Create internal playbooks, thought leadership, and sales enablement materials to position DFI-Q Media as a Retail Media leader
Do you have experience in Strategy Planning?
- 4–8 years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or business development
- Master's degree in business, finance or marketing; MBA degree preferred
- Past consulting experience in digital marketing, digital transformations within the retail / consumer goods sector is preferred
- Excellent PowerPoint presentation skills required – being to develop clear and well-structured storylines and present complex data into visually compelling graphs for senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical and commercial skills, with experience developing data-driven recommendations and business cases
- Experience developing advanced excel models including business plans and financial projections
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; able to align and influence key stakeholders and senior management teams across the group
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset; comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and sufficient level of maturity to present to senior management
- Preferred/Bonus:
- Understanding of the MarTech and AdTech ecosystem (e.g. RMN platforms and CMS solutions like Criteo and Flipkart, Google Marketing Platforms, Salesforce, Braze, Meta, TradeDesk) is a strong advantage
- Experience working on product launches, media monetization strategies, or data-driven marketing
- Retail media experience and industry expertise
- Successful track record in business development and driving revenue targets

**POSITION SUMMARY:**
Responsible for preparing the OTB plan, including the financial KPIs: sell through, discount, inventory turn assumption, for the regional merchandising team to prepare seasonal buy and improve assortment productivity. Drive and manage an integrated and successful regional Buy management process that effectively supports brand profitability and business objectives. Monitor in season sales planning to make sure each category full year net sales are achieved.
**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:**
+ Pre-season planning and analysis
+ Lead the partnership with regional and country merchandising, planning and finance team to develop OTB according to buying strategy, financial target and historical analysis
+ Conduct Seasonal OTB meetings with regional and country teams
+ Follow up with country team to ensure the on-time execution
+ Drive the initiatives throughout different function teams to follow the same calendar and process
+ Drive assortment productivity
+ Support Seasonal Buy Signoff process post market week
+ Monitor actual vs OTB plan
+ In-season planning and analysis
+ Lead in the process to provide ongoing product and category performance and quantitative analysis
+ Maintain and monitor of inventory plan and sales plan
+ Understand seasonal approach and the relevant impact to business plan
+ Working together with regional Merchandising team on in-season planning and analysis
+ Support and coordinate the same analysis with country planning team to achieve the Asia Pacific level target
+ Lead and drive the regional sales meetings with regional business partners
+ Understand the current market trend and business needs
+ Follow up on the latest issues and requirements
+ Leverage the best practices between countries and coordinate the needs between markets and regional
**CREATIVITY:** Must possess a high degree of fashion aesthetic; interest in trends, lifestyles, competitors, and media. Support introduction of new ideas. Can work within the creative process effectively, and support bring ideas to realization.

**Functional Competencies:**
+ Better and in-depth understanding business, merchandising and demand planning to drive potential incremental sales
+ Ability to create detailed and analytical plan for informed business decision support
**QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:**
**Experience:**
+ A minimum of 8 years' merchandising planning managerial experience in MNCs, preferably in the retail industry
**Education:**
+ Bachelor's degree
**Skills:**
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills and self-motivation
+ Knowledge of SAP systems - Demand & Supply Planning, Inventory management, Sales & Distribution & Purchasing
+ Computer skills with databases and spreadsheet programs
+ Proven written and verbal communication skills in English and preferably with other Asian languages/ Mandarin Chinese
+ Negotiating skills and ability to resolve conflict and multiple priorities
+ Possess and utilize team concept, presentation skills, resolution skills and the ability to encourage others to develop and implement adequate solutions to business issues, be a great communicator.
