Our Client, a leading car dealer specializing in electric vehicles, is seeking a Senior Sales Training Manager for the APAC region. This role is essential in developing and implementing effective training programs that empower their sales teams to excel in the rapidly evolving electric vehicle market. The position will be based in the Hong Kong office and requires significant travel across the APAC region to deliver tailored training solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Reports to Senior Management and work closely with marketing and product teams to align training content with current product offerings and promotional strategies
  • Develop and implement comprehensive training programs focused on electric vehicle sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement strategies tailored to the APAC market
  • Collaborate with regional sales leadership to identify specific training needs and skill gaps within teams across various countries
  • Lead dynamic training sessions, workshops, and role-playing exercises to enhance sales competencies, both in-person and online
  • Monitor and analyse training outcomes to ensure programs are driving sales performance and meeting organizational goals
  • Create and maintain training resources, manuals, and digital content that support ongoing learning for diverse sales teams
  • Offer one-on-one coaching and support to sales representatives to help them achieve their individual sales targets and professional growth
  • Track training results and report on the effectiveness and ROI of training initiatives to senior management

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field
  • 6-8 years experience as a Sales Trainer, preferably in automotive or electric vehicle sector
  • Strong understanding of electric vehicle tech and sales methodologies
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead teams
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems
  • Willingness to travel throughout the APAC region
  • Effective communication skills in English & Chinese
  • Good business acumen, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Maturity, agility, self-motivation, punctuality, and ability to work under pressure

Candidate with less experience will be considered for a Sales Training Manager position.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Sales Enablement, Learning & Development, or Project Management
  • Proven success in deploying LMS platforms and creating training programs
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working with performance metrics and KPIs
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, LMS tools, and sales support platforms
  • Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent collaboration skills, especially when working with Marketing, HR, and Sales
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

The Business Dev Lead Officer is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Requires basic commercial awareness. There are typically multiple people within the business that provide the same level of subject matter expertise. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Significant impact on the area through complex deliverables. Provides advice and counsel related to the technology or operations of the business. Work impacts an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Proactively build trusted and productive relationships within our bank assessment areas to promote and generate business to meet and exceed goals.
+ Facilitate, promote, and administer financial education, seminars and outreach efforts to generate business.
+ Provide technical training on lending programs/products to external relationship partners and to internal partners team on
+ Manage and cultivate relationships with external clients to increase lending penetration in bank assessment areas.
+ Works closely with leadership in support of new business development efforts. This role emphasizes planning, organizing, researching, and responding to retail private label and co-brand opportunities in a uniform manner.
+ Support strategic planning process for business development
+ Perform deep dive research of new business prospects to include company research, financial analysis, deal background/history, value proposition, etc.
+ Assemble business plans for high priority prospects (competitive landscape, SWOT, differentiation strategy, detailed prospecting plan and resource requirements) and maintain business plan tracking and adherence.
+ Coordinate market research requests/activities for prospects, to include brand data analytics and mystery shopping.
+ Prepare prospect meeting presentations (including ordering and managing creative process, deck production).
+ Perform prospect and pipeline tracking duties.
+ Build, monitor and continuously refresh prospect database.
+ Create monthly retailer performance dashboard for key prospects and existing clients - and proactively share insights with Business Development and Partner Management teams.
+ Assist in coordination across other Citi business units in support of new business.
+ Responsible for scheduling deal meetings (internal), coordinating logistics for external meetings, and maintaining calendar of activities
+ Develop specific business plans, including closed loan goals, for each product and program sponsored and managed.
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
**Qualifications:**
+ 6-10 years relevant experience
+ Previous banking experience preferred
+ Demonstrated leadership skills, build effective working relationships with bank partners, relationship management
+ Exceptional consulting and presentation skills; ability to probe and listen to help clarify inquiries, gather and prese
**Education:**
+ Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred

About Our Client

We are looking for a Business Analyst to work on projects within our Digital, Commerce portfolio, bridging the gap between business needs and technical requirements on technology and reporting projects. You will collaborate with business experts and technology teams to identify & implement solutions to meet evolving business models. The Business Analyst will primarily focus on the Digital, Commerce portfolio but may also work across other projects within Digital or Commercial Technology.

Job Description
  • Partner with Business Functions to translate business needs into benefits, project scope, and objectives aligned with strategic goals
  • Act as a change agent for new capabilities delivered
  • Support vendor selection activities by collating requirements and scoring criteria, aligning with business benefits
  • Prepare and facilitate workshops, assimilate process content, identify knowledge gaps, set agendas, and create materials
  • Work at various levels of detail, from high-level discussions to detailed requirements and test scripts
  • Communicate requirements to data, solution leads, and development teams to develop solutions
  • Uphold enterprise data and information principles in system and reporting solutions
  • Visualize process changes and impacts with stakeholders to establish understanding and accountability
  • Liaise with managers, project teams, and architects to govern scope, manage changes, and risks
  • Identify synergies and dependencies across projects within Digital and wider IT portfolio
  • Maintain and promote consistent Business Analysis methodology and practices
The Successful Applicant
  • Effective communication skills in technical and business contexts
  • Ability to build relationships with management and stakeholders
  • Experience in eliciting and documenting requirements with quality deliverables
  • Basic understanding of data architecture principles
  • Basic understanding of user experience design principles
  • Experience with programming languages like Python, SQL, Java
  • Knowledge of current technologies and trends
  • Strong critical thinking and logical reasoning skills
  • Ability to work independently and on multiple projects
  • Effective at managing challenges and communicating with technical teams
  • Interpersonal and influencing skills to achieve results
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA and Confluence
  • PMP certification is a plus
  • Experience in Retail industry, especially with Digital or consumer-facing technologies
