Required Technical Skill Set

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

  • Architect and implement scalable, normalized, and secure databases to support current and future MRO operations.
  • Establish data warehousing or data lake strategies for MRO analytics and reporting.
  • Define the data migration architecture, tools, and methodologies.
  • Assess and map legacy MRO data (e.g., equipment, materials, work orders, BOMs, maintenance plans) to target system structures.
  • Design and develop data cleansing, enrichment, and validation strategies.
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure accurate data mapping and transformation logic.
  • Define and execute data migration testing strategy, including mock loads, trial conversions, and reconciliation processes.
  • Establish data quality metrics, exception handling, and audit trails.
  • Manage ETL development, data loads, and cutover activities.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and data governance standards are met.
  • Provide leadership to migration teams and mentor junior data professionals.
  • Design & Architecture Experience in creating / improving the Data Landscape

Good-to-Have

  • Airline Domain Knowledge or Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul
  • Coordinate with DBAs, system architects, and business analysts.
  • Data migration experience on data cleansing, masking and mapping.
  • Expertise in relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.) and data modeling tools

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

  • Define the data migration architecture, tools, and methodologies on different modules like Line Maintenance, Base Maintenance, Control Center, Ground event packages.
  • Assess and map legacy MRO data (e.g., equipment, materials, work orders, BOMs, maintenance plans) to target system structures.
  • Design and develop data cleansing, enrichment, and validation strategies
  • Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure accurate data mapping and transformation logic.
  • Define and execute data migration testing strategy, including mock loads, trial conversions, and reconciliation processes.
  • Good presentation skill to present the solution to Enterprise Design Authority forum to get the endorsement
  • Implement master data management (MDM) practices for key MRO entities (materials, equipment, vendors, locations). Work with data stewards to define rules for validation, cleansing, and enrichment
  • Collaborate with business analysts, MRO engineers, IT, and operations to gather and translate data requirements.
  • Lead database-related tasks in MRO transformation projects, including upgrades, migrations, and cloud transitions

Primary Purpose :

Support APAC Health and Wellbeing strategy of International SOS Global Account through analytics and clear communication.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Data Analytics & Reporting : Respond to data/reporting requests, analyze complex datasets, provide actionable insights, and ensure project delivery within scope and quality standards.
  • Governance & Data Processing : Manage data governance and processing, ensuring data security, quality, and integrity.
  • Stakeholder & Vendor Management : Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors, align analytics and reporting needs with leadership.
  • Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing : Provide guidance on data and analytics tools, share best practices and methodologies.
  • Additional Support : Support other health services pillars as needed.

Required Experience and Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Proven proficiency in data analysis, statistical modeling, and using data visualization tools (e.g., MS Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Business Objects) for impactful storytelling.
  • Knowledge of SQL , machine learning concepts, and familiarity with R or Python is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills , with the ability to present findings to non-technical audiences.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a corporate workplace environment, preferably in data or project management roles.
  • Experience with vendor and project management .
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
  • Self-motivated , striving for excellence, customer-focused, and able to inspire and influence, with a keen interest in the Wellness and Benefits field.

As a Data Analyst at Lalamove, you will work with a group of passionate and talented product managers, engineers, designers, and data scientists to solve some of the most challenging problems the company is facing. You will be delivering reports, dashboards, data sources, actionable insights based on analyses and experimentation to empower product management in making informed decisions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for generating value out of data and shape the future of lalamove products.

What You'll Need
  • 1-2 years of work experience in a business intelligence or data analytics role, fresh graduates will also be considered
  • Educational background in statistics, computer science, other applied sciences or understanding of data science theory
  • Experience in applying Visualization, Statistical Inference and other Data Mining techniques on variety of data
  • Proficiency in SQL. Comfortable with Linux and Git commands
  • Experience using Tableau or other BI Tools for reporting and analyses
  • Good command of English and Cantonese
