This role will primarily support the rollout and localization of SAP systems under the guidance of Global HQ, while also maintaining daily finance operations. Key Responsibilities

SAP Project Support (80%)

• Collaborate closely with Global HQ and regional teams to execute SAP implementation plans
• Participate in system configuration, testing, and validation activities
• Attend training sessions and act as a local champion for SAP adoption
• Assist in mapping legacy processes to SAP workflows and identify gaps
• Support data migration efforts, including cleansing, validation, and reconciliation
• Document local finance requirements and ensure compliance with regional regulations
• Provide feedback to HQ on localization needs and system usability
• Coordinate with IT and finance teams to troubleshoot issues during rollout

Daily Finance Operations (20%)

• Support routine accounting tasks including AP/AR, GL entries, and reconciliations
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal policies
• Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants as needed
• Provide ad hoc support to the finance team during peak periods

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in multinational environments
• Prior exposure to SAP (FI/CO modules) or ERP implementation projects is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Excellent communication skills in English and Cantonese/Mandarin
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across global teams
• Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable to change

Responsibilities :

• Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP Financials (focus on AR/ AP/ GL/ Controlling/ Asset Accounting)
• Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions.
• Identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements.
• Map client business requirements, processes and objectives, develop product modifications to satisfy clients' needs.
• Design, customize, configure and testing of FI/CO modules.
• Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions.
• Document functional designs, test cases and results.
• Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
• Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required.

Job Requirement :

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting or related disciplines.
• Solid knowledge on SAP system, with minimum of 4 years of experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects in design and configuration.
• Ability to understand (accounting and finance) business processes from a user perspective.
• Detail oriented, self-driven, independent and able to meet deadlines.
• Analytical minded and good problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, presentation skills and customer oriented.
• Good command of spoken & written English.

Responsibilities:

Participate in SAP implementation projects, including business research, demand confirmation, scheme design, blueprint design, system configuration, testing, online preparation, user training, etc.

Participate in SAP operation and maintenance projects: answer user inquiries and assist users in solving problems

Guide and train newcomers

Requirement:

Bachelor's degree holder in MIS, Business Management, Applied Computer Science or related discipline

5-10 years of working experience in SAP module consultant, participated in at least above 3 complete SAP S/4 HANA implementation, upgrade or global rollout projects

Able to implement SAP SuccessFactors module independently, be familiar with the business process and configuration of related modules, and be able to complete design of related solutions

Able to complete the relevant modules described in the position independently

Have solid business background and good experience in manufacture or other industries

Fluent in Japanese is preferred
