- High level of English proficiency in spoken and written English required.
- While not essential, please state any IB Diploma experience.

The starting date for this appointment is mid-August 2025. Initial contract is normally 2 years in duration. Renewable 2-year contracts are offered subject to mutual agreement.

Clearwater Bay School is seeking to appoint a School Counsellor (Part Time) to join our team. This role is likely to be for one/two days a week, and is flexible to agreement and refinement on offer.
The school counsellor will be a key member of our team, and will be integral to the work and pastoral care of our school.

- In addition to being an exemplary practitioner and excellent team player, the successful candidate will also be extremely well organised, and possess excellent spoken and written English skills.
- The counsellor will meet with the Learning Diversity Team and Child Protection Leads / Vice Principals regularly to process the needs of the school.

- Upgrade Staff Competency and Qualifications: Assist team members in skill improvement. Provide on-the-job training and encourage career progression.
- Complete Administrative Tasks: Such as prepare incident reports and maintain accurate lesson schedules.
- Undertake Assigned Duties: Perform any other tasks as directed by management to assist operations as necessary.

- The job holder must have acquired BHS Stage 3 Complete or equivalent with at least 4 years (S4) or 6 years (S5) relevant work experience
- Have a knowledge of training methods for schooling a variety of horses both under saddle and from the ground; previous experience of working with thoroughbreds would be advantageous
- Be a holder of first-aid certificate
- Personable, enthusiastic and positive personality
- Passion for horses and horse riding
- Excellent communicator preferably in both English and Chinese

- oversee the end-to-end admission process for taught postgraduate programs, from application review, vetting, to final decision, ensuring adherence to university policies and deadlines;
- work with TPG admission team and programme officers to ensure a quality and efficient admission process for applicants of postgraduate programmes;
- work closely with academic departments, faculty members, and other stakeholders to streamline admission procedures and enhance the overall student experience;
- utilise data analytics to track key admission metrics, identify trends, and generate reports to support decision-making and process improvement;
- assist in the development and implementation of admission policies, procedures, and guidelines in alignment with the university's strategic objectives;
- serve as a point of contact for prospective students, addressing inquiries, providing guidance on the application process, and ensuring a high level of customer service;
- training and development: conduct training sessions for admission staff and TPG programme officers on best practices, university policies, and updates in the field of postgraduate admissions; and
- assist the manager to provide secretarial support to the graduate school committee.
- possesses a bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of relevant working experience, preferably in supporting TPG matters;
- have experience in handling admissions-related matters and in workflow automation
- possesses administrative experience with competence in committee work will be advantageous;
- have knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in higher education admissions;
- be proficient in data analysis and report generation, knowledge of IT applications will be a definite advantage;
- have a strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), especially with a high level of English proficiency in writing reports, proposals and minutes;
- have strong analytical and logical thinking, and interpersonal, coordination and problem-solving skills;
- have the ability to take the initiative and to carry out duties independently and under tight schedules; and
- be able to demonstrate a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.
Qualified candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Executive Officer.Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
