What You'll Bring
- Master’s or PhD in statistics, applied math, financial math, computer science, or a related quantitative field; or a Bachelor’s with 3+ years of relevant experience and demonstrate a consistent track record of academic excellence.
- Minimum 10 years supporting internal/external clients, with at least 5 years in analytics, preferably in industries of Financial Services, Insurance, Fraud or Digital Marketing.
- Proven analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Advanced programming skills and aptitude; mastery with statistical programs such as R or Python.
- Experience of leading complex analytics projects with minimal supervision, collaborating across teams and directly with clients.
- Strong project and time management skills to lead multiple complex portfolios and work streams in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent business acumen and communication skills, including the ability to present and translate technical concepts into actionable recommendations to multiple levels, including executive audiences
- Occasional travel required.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on cross-functional teams internally and externally, driving new business initiatives and delivering long-term, value-added solutions to TransUnion customers.
- Lead the development of technical solutions to complex problems with minimal supervision.
- Act as the primary contact for strategic clients, identifying opportunities to test and adopt analytic products and services. Frequent direct engagement with client or TransUnion executives would be expected.
- Deliver analytic insights and recommendations in succinct and compelling presentations for internal and external customers representing a wide range of backgrounds and levels.

Job Responsibilities
As a consultant you will be working on challenging projects with international blue-chip clients across diverse industries, on both advanced data analytics and consulting, including meeting with clients and building bespoke solutions to face their challenges. You will be working in teams of 3 to 6 consultants, on 1 to 3 projects simultaneously.
You’ll be involved in projects from first discovery meetings all the way to final recommendations, gathering and analyzing data, building statistical models, translating quantitative insights into strategic recommendations. You will have the opportunity to be creative and suggest innovative approaches, and well as being pushed to grow into taking ownership of your projects.

Profile
We’re looking for talented candidates with the following profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Statistics, Economics, Engineering or a related analytical field. Outstanding record of academic achievement.
- 0-2 years of experience in Data Analysis / Modelling / Advanced Analytics to answer business questions
- Experience with statistical software such as R, Python, SQL, etc
- Proficient with Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Consulting experience or interest in working as a consultant
- Strong interest in marketing & business issues
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Business level English fluency
- Proficiency in APAC languages is a plus (Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean, Japanese, etc)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Self-motivated, diligent and open to learn

Job Responsibilities
As a consultant you will be working on challenging projects with international blue-chip clients across diverse industries, on both advanced data analytics and consulting, including meeting with clients and building bespoke solutions to face their challenges. You will be working in teams of 3 to 6 consultants, on 1 to 3 projects simultaneously.
You’ll be involved in projects from first discovery meetings all the way to final recommendations, gathering and analyzing data, building statistical models, translating quantitative insights into strategic recommendations. You will have the opportunity to be creative and suggest innovative approaches, and well as being pushed to grow into taking ownership of your projects.
You’ll be able to present your results and will be exposed to C-suite clients.
