RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Senior Consultant/Project Manager at Capco, you will be given the support and autonomy to expand our securities services footprint in Hong Kong and play a key role in the delivery of projects. You will work closely with senior clients to deliver large-scale change initiatives for leading banks. You will also need to be a supremely motivated person and able to work in a team where clients become colleagues too.
We are looking for exceptional talent with the following:
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills – ability to interact with colleagues at all levels in a peer-like way, and achieve goals without direct control over resources
- Responsible for delivering projects
- Working on client site to deliver change initiatives for leading clients across financial services, including investment banking, wealth and asset management
- Strong emerging end-to-end generalist problem-solving skills, e.g., defining and deconstructing problems
- Performance requirement gathering, functional requirements, user stories, and business process requirements, technology architectures
- Prioritizing issues, analysis, and team capacity
- Structuring and building quantitative and qualitative/conceptual analyses
- Ability to analyze operational and financial data
- Manage projects and individual workstreams
- Communicating project statuses to senior management
SKILLS AND EXPERTISE
- Minimum 6+ years of experience as a management consultant
- SME knowledge in Securities Services including a deep understanding of the post-trade and securities services operations
- Diverse problem-solving experience, such as experience with a top management consulting firm or in other generalist problem-solving environments across the securities services sector
- An outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently (both oral and written), and work well in cross-functional teams
- Strong understanding of Prince 2/Agile/Waterfall is preferred
- Knowledge of agile ways of working would be an advantage
- Openness to an environment of active developmental feedback from peers
- Strong experience in using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required
- Excellent communication skills in English are essential. Cantonese and Mandarin are an advantage

As a Vice President, Custody Product Development Manager within the Custody Product Development Team, you will lead the delivery of core product enhancements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement strategic solutions that position J.P. Morgan as 'best in class' in the Custody space. Your work will directly impact our clients and the wider community, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Based in Hong Kong, you will work with Product Management, Technology, and Operations to align product solutions with the strategic roadmap. Your role will involve leading cross-functional teams, planning initiatives, and ensuring successful project delivery.
Job Responsibilities
- Delivery of strategic Custody Investment Proposals and the Custody roadmap
- Lead cross-functional teams across Product Management, Technology, Client Services, Network Management and other Operational areas to agree and execute solutions
- Plan initiative delivery timeframes, refining budgetary requirements and ensuring completion of projects and key milestones within agreed budget and timeframes
- Facilitate requirements and solution discussions with relevant teams and, as required , this may include direct discussion with clients
- Establish governance framework for oversight and management of projects. Ensure stakeholders, sponsors and impacted parties receive relevant and timely communication
- Plan and coordinate test phases as required, ensuring success criteria are clearly defined and clearly met at test conclusion
- Strive for robust strategic solutions, encourage others to think strategically and leverage full intellectual capability of subject matter experts and teams
- Present project objectives, progress and benefits to varied audiences including senior management, J.P. Morgan clients and functional partners
- 10+ years experience in an Operations, Client Service, Product Management or Product Development
- Results orientated: Drive results through people, communication, influence management and interactions. Demonstrates a proven track record of delivering strategic projects
- Problem Solving: strong analytical skills with logical and structured approach to planning, problem solving and decision making
- Multi-tasker: Ability to multi-task, effectively prioritise workloads, and manage multiple streams of work concurrently
- Ownership: be personally accountable for achieving key milestones on a development roadmap
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Communication: Confident communicator in all mediums across varied audiences – candidate will be dealing with stakeholders of varying degrees of seniority across Product Management/Development, Technology, Operations, Network, Client Service, and Sales including senior executives

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Product Manager.
Role Purpose
The Product Solutions and Strategic Execution Team is a global team of c200 FTEs supporting all Securities Services (SSv) products and is accountable for the governance, design, management, delivery and execution of all strategic product and service-related programmes and overarching governance of the Securities Services operating model in line with strategy and targets.
This role will report directly to the Global Head of Product Solutions Delivery and will be responsible for leading the delivery of operational, regulatory and client-driven change on the Securities Services (SSv) strategic Transaction Management capability within Product Solutions.
The role will manage all aspects of programme delivery to ensure deadlines are met including initiation, requirement refinement, development, reporting and successful implementation of functional deliveries and tracking on-boarding of clients to existing and new channels and products to deliver end to end solutions in support of Securities Services (SSv) and client needs.
In this role you will
Delivery Management, responsible for functional management, planning and reporting of the end-to-end delivery life cycle to ensure deadlines are met across the transaction management platform, analysing problem statements and ensuring the right solutions are ultimately developed and delivered.
- This will include managing the initiation, requirement, development, implementation of functional deliverables and tracking on-boarding of clients to existing and new channels and products to deliver end to end solutions in support of Securities Services (SSv) and client needs
- Drive the delivery of all initiatives and ensure these are captured, managed and reported aligned to the STM Change Operating Model in JIRA
- Governance and Reporting: aligned to the wider SSv governance and status reporting framework
- Continuous Improvement: drives continuous improvement to the products and platforms, including identifying best practice both internally and externally
- Drives progress against the programme plan; understands, challenges and proactively manages the cost position; and acts to mitigate potential cost or time delays
- Identifies and secures appropriate resources to work on the deliverables alongside programme/project managers within Product and Technology; defines clear roles and responsibilities for team members including specific responsibility for production of all deliverables
- Leads the delivery of the Transaction Management Platform capabilities through establishing effective relationships with key stakeholders. Responsible for building and maintaining key relationships with the various Client programmes and Product sub value-streams
- Share best practice approaches with Product Solutions colleagues and wider across SSv. Continuously evaluates programmes/projects for financial and people risk and regulatory compliance and takes appropriate steps to mitigate
Qualifications
To be successful you will need
- Significant delivery track record with experience of successful programme and project delivery within a financial services environment
- Experience of team leadership and ability to drive and maintain Product backlogs and reporting
- Desirable - Experience of the Post trade processing and transaction processing life cycle within securities services
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders and business sponsors
- Must be a strong communicator both verbal and written
- Expert in Change Management Principles
- Expert in Project & Programme Methodology
- A good understanding of technical build, test and deployment technologies. A good understanding of Agile delivery methodology

- Excellent communication skills in English is essential. Cantonese and Mandarin are an advantage
