You will:
- Develop, maintain, and own cyber security architecture patterns and design standards, using industry references and best practices (NIST, CIS, ISO, MITRE, OWASP, etc.) addressing - what, why, how, who, when, and where
- Develop, maintain, and own cyber threat modelling framework and apply it in conjunction with the risk management framework, risk assessment, and compliance with cybersecurity policies and standards
- Ensure coverage of cyber architecture patterns and design standards, and support extends to the current IT and cyber portfolio, as a priority. In addition, based on the demand and established priority, ensure support for evolving and emerging technologies such as multi, hybrid, public, and private clouds, Gen AI, DLTs, and Quantum resistance
- Develop and maintain NFRs and provide the required cyber architecture, design, and delivery support to the strategic business initiatives to complement their business functional requirements
- Work alongside PMO, delivery and BAU teams to establish project plans with scope, dependencies, constraints, timeframe, and including established BAU acceptance criteria, for club-wide cyber initiatives funded by CS, based on priorities, funding, and resourcing, and maintain a diligent focus on execution
- Conduct regular information-sharing sessions across management teams, independent of specific project deliverables, and with a focus on cyber architecture, design, product capabilities, people skills, and process maturity to seek feedback for continuous improvement
- Strive for product integration and consolidation, with immediate tactical steps and medium to longer-term approach, whilst articulating its rationale. Ensure rigorous competitive analysis, technical evaluations, vendor stability, professional services and support capabilities
- Mentor cyber design, delivery, and operational (BAU) teams. Remain up-to-date on evolving and emerging technologies. Distill hype (snake oil) across all cyber technologies. Excel in thought leadership as well as programme, project management, and people management across cross-functional teams across the Club
You should have:
- Deep expertise and knowledge of the Security Domain with 10+ years of experience
- At least 4+ years of experience leading Security Architecture for a technology-focused organization
- Degree holder or Post-Graduate qualification in IT-related disciplines
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the latest security tools, security design methodologies, architecture frameworks and security risk assessment methods
- Relevant professional certifications (such as CISSP, CISM, GSE, or other equivalent) preferred
- Ability to speak English with good communication skills. Cantonese would be an advantage
- Able to accept technical challenges involved with defining the future of security
- A passion for educating and working with diverse technical teams
- Experience in security technologies including cloud, web application security, anti-bot solutions, WAF, application layer firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, stateful inspection, TCP/IP, cryptography, authentication, OAUTH2.0, PCI DSS, different web application vulnerabilities, different attack vectors, vulnerability assessment and application penetration testing
- Experience with fundamental Internet protocols: BGP, GRE, MPLS, CDN, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, HTTP, FTP, DNS
- Broad security and technology knowledge including DevSecOps and cloud infrastructure
- Programming experience - C, C++, J2EE, .NET, Flash/Flex, Web services and website development are a strong advantage
- Knowledge of ISMS, ISO27000 series, OWASP Top 10, MITRE and other major information security frameworks

- Ensure the platform and network security controls are embedded into the architecture and design of the platforms and network used within the Club

- Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills
- Well-disciplined with exemplary professional competence and integrity
- Experience with the following services and technologies – Endpoint/Server Security (Anti-Malware & Endpoint Detection and Response), Virtualisation Security, Container Security, Cloud Security, Web & Email Security Gateway, Firewall Governance and IDS/IPS, Web Application Firewall/DDoS/API Protection
- Industry-recognised certification in one or more of the following – CISSP, CISM, etc.

- Administration on F5 load balance ASM, Fortigate, Paloalto
- Act as the 1st line of Response Team to Network and Security issues and Perform Cyber Defence from intruders’ attacks
- To implement on enhance IT security system from Group requirements
- Support the daily operations of the security section
- Security Implementation on IPS/IDS and firewall
- Handle cyber threat analysis, and anti-DDos service
- Assist on vulnerability assessment and system hardening of corporate systems and provide advisory service from a security perspective on new systems
Requirements
- University degree / Diploma holder in Information Technology or related disciplines
- 3 years or above in IT security management or network design & administration
- Certified in CISSP, CISA, CISM or other recognized certificate is an advantage
- Basic knowledge on security project administration and coordination
- Experience from banking / financial institutions are preferred
- Knowledge in IT risk management or network / firewall administration

- Ensure the platform and network security controls are embedded into the architecture and design of the platforms and network used within the Club
- Ensure the platform and network security controls and services provided are operating effectively
- Continuously identify control and coverage gaps, and improvement initiatives to uplift the Platform & Network Security service, particularly in areas of emerging technology the Club is looking to adopt
- Ensure the platforms (classic, virtual, container, cloud), email gateway and web gateway used within the Club have the required security controls adopted to protect them from cyber threats and security logging is made available to the Club’s Security Operations Centre for detection and response purposes
- Govern the management of firewall rules and configuration, IDS/IPS signatures, web application firewall rules and configuration, and API security
- Support the provision of platform and network security metrics, reports and service highlights to the IT and business stakeholders
- Undertake other duties assigned by Cyber Security Management
- Participate, contribute and help shape a diverse and inclusive culture with trust and respect. Play an active role to support cross-team/division/department efforts and model collaborative behaviours
You will:

You should have:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, and/or related discipline
- 5 years or more working experience in the Platform & Network Security domain across various disciplines
- Strong experience covering Platform & Network Security services and required operating procedures
- Strong service and customer-focused approach to the service being delivered
- Excellent interpersonal, collaborative and communication skills
- Well-disciplined with exemplary professional competence and integrity
- Experience with the following services and technologies – Endpoint/Server Security (Anti-Malware & Endpoint Detection and Response), Virtualisation Security, Container Security, Cloud Security, Web & Email Security Gateway, Firewall Governance and IDS/IPS, Web Application Firewall/DDoS/API Protection
- Industry-recognised certification in one or more of the following – CISSP, CISM, etc.
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualification and experience.

- Configure and manage network security tools, such as firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), network detection and response (NDR) appliances, network taps, network threat analysis (NTA) brokers, network packet brokers (NPBs), and SSL decryption technology, for data center projects.
- Integrate newly implemented network security infrastructure with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to ensure effective threat detection and incident response.
- Develop standard operating procedures and technical guidelines, and contribute to process and quality improvements.
- Collaborate with teams and vendors to address technical support and change management issues.
- Create project documentation, test plans, and briefings, and coordinate disaster recovery (DR) drills and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide on-call support for emergencies or ad-hoc requests outside regular office hours when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with network security tools, with proficiency in at least two of the following: firewalls, IPS, NDR appliances, network taps, NTA brokers, NPBs, or SSL decryption technology.
- CCNA or CISSP certification preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluent in spoken and written English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
