**Job Description Summary**
The Solutions Development for Operational Technology (OT) Cybersecurity within our Grid Automation business will be a key driver of growth for our cybersecurity solutions & services portfolio targeted at operational technology (OT) environments within the energy and utility sectors. This role requires a strong understanding of both cybersecurity principles and the specific challenges and requirements of grid automation systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities for our OT cybersecurity offerings across the region. This is a strategic role requiring a proactive, results-oriented individual with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
This role can be located in Singapore, Malaysia or Hong Kong.

+ Identify and prioritize target accounts and industry verticals within the energy and utility sectors.
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at target accounts, including C-level executives, IT/OT managers, and security personnel.
+ Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve sales targets and expand market share for our OT cybersecurity solutions & services.
+ Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, techno-commercial proposals, and quotations.
+ Conduct trainings for internal teams, channel partners and customers.
+ Lead and manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact to contract closure.
+ Sales forecasting, pipeline management, maintaining sales activities and opportunities in CRM systems.
+ Track progress against sales targets and provide regular reports to management on key performance indicators.
+ Stay abreast of relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to OT cybersecurity (e.g., IEC 62443, CEAP cybersecurity regulations).
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Computer Science, or related field), or equivalent experience is essential
+ At least 5 years proven track record of successful business development and sales experience in the cybersecurity domain, specifically within OT environments.
+ Key to success of this role is strong understanding of industrial control systems (ICS), supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), and other critical infrastructure technologies within the energy and utility sectors.
+ Knowledge of OT cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., IEC 62443, NIST CSF, NERC CIP) is essential
+ Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with both technical and business audiences.
+ Strong negotiation and closing skills.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
+ Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required.
**Desired characteristics**
+ Willingness to travel up to 50% of working time. Travel is predominantly within CEAP region and world-wide on occasions.
+ Willingness to work beyond normal working hours to coordinate with worldwide teams.
+ Experience selling complex software and services solutions.
+ Established network of contacts within the energy and utility industries. o Understanding of GE Vernova's Grid Automation products and services.
+ Sales training and certification.

Your Impact

As a Channel Cybersecurity Architect, your primary responsibility will be to provide technical sales support and guidance on the Cisco Security Solutions Portfolio to our partners and distributors. You'll need extensive knowledge and experience across the information security domain. Your role will involve articulating the benefits of the Cisco Security Platform and integrated Architecture across Hybrid Cloud Transformation, Zero Trust Access and Security Operations. You must be adept at conducting business and technical conversations at various levels with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Cybersecurity Partner Team, Cybersecurity Sales Specialist, and general Sales team by directly assisting with identified customer opportunities and Partner development across the APJC region.
  • Promote the technical value and business benefits of Cisco Security solutions and Go-To-Market approach.
  • Build trusted technical advisor relationships with partners at all levels, aligning the Cisco vision with relevant business strategies. Present and demonstrate technical solutions in a business-relevant manner to all levels of the partner organization.
  • Utilize Cisco-defined processes and tools, such as Salesforce (SFDC), to navigate the sales cycle, implementing relevant Cisco enablement programs and tools to drive Security sales opportunities.
  • Explain the elements of Cisco Security solutions and architecture and their interconnections with all elements of the Cisco portfolio, ensuring the features and benefits are understood and valued by partners and customers.
  • Ensure the detailed features, functionality, and architectural impact of Cisco technology in your designs and proposals are communicated effectively.
  • Build a working knowledge of technology shifts impacting security and other architectures, such as Software Defined Networking, Data Center Architectures, and Hybrid Cloud transformation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • University degree in a technical subject area or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the security field and with 4 years as a pre-sales Systems Engineer (SE) experience.
  • Experience in enterprise architecture, security operations, compliance auditing, or Security DevOps.
  • Maintain strong personal organization and time management skills.
  • Be detail-oriented and consistently follow up on tasks.
  • Possess outstanding presentation skills.
  • Work flexibly to achieve goals using various internal and external resources. Invest time in learning about technology shifts and communicate relevant aspects to customers and partners.

When available, the salary range posted for this position reflects the projected hiring range for new hire, full-time salaries in U.S. and/or Canada locations, not including equity or benefits. For non-sales roles the hiring ranges reflect base salary only; employees are also eligible to receive annual bonuses. Hiring ranges for sales positions include base and incentive compensation target. Individual pay is determined by the candidate's hiring location and additional factors, including but not limited to skillset, experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training. U.S. employees haveaccess ( to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings.
Employees receive up to twelve paid holidays per calendar year, which includes one floating holiday (for non-exempt employees), plus a day off for their birthday. Non-Exempt new hires accrue up to 16 days of vacation time off each year, at a rate of 4.92 hours per pay period. Exempt new hires participate in Cisco's flexible Vacation Time Off policy, which does not place a defined limit on how much vacation time eligible employees may use, but is subject to availability and some business limitations. All new hires are eligible for Sick Time Off subject to Cisco's Sick Time Off Policy and will have eighty (80) hours of sick time off provided on their hire date and on January 1st of each year thereafter. Up to 80 hours of unused sick time will be carried forward from one calendar year to the next such that the maximum number of sick time hours an employee may have available is 160 hours. Employees in Illinois have a unique time off program designed specifically with local requirements in mind. All employees also have access to paid time away to deal with critical or emergency issues. We offer additional paid time to volunteer and give back to the community.
Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

Job Summary:

The Information Security Engineer is responsible for designing, building and maintaining enterprise IT security solutions to address the organization’s security requirements. Reporting to the Information Security Services Lead, this role will work closely with IT Innovation Lab, software engineering teams, IT infrastructure team, IT compliance, security operations and cyber technology risk team.

Responsibilities

  • Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information
  • Identify and define system security requirements
  • Design computersecurity architecture and develop detailedcyber securitydesigns
  • Configure and troubleshoot security systems and infrastructure devices
  • Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
  • Maintain all solution design documentation, processes, procedures and report on metrics to demonstrate effective and efficient management of services.
  • Work with handling service requests on security tool standard changes, such as proxy whitelisting requests
  • Delivery security service on-boarding such as security agent install, connecting systems to SIEM
  • Review IT systems to ensure that they have met security acceptance criteria.
  • Work with product vendors and suppliers to maintain and enhance existing security tooling and products
  • Ensure that the organization security tools can detect and help with the response to cyber security incidents.
  • Document and validate disaster recovery testing for CyberSecurity tools.
  • Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancements
  • Support in managing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for security solutions which includes new investments and business-as-usual financials.
  • Design and execute processes to make BAU changes to security tools (eg web proxy changes, DLP mail rule changes, etc)
  • Automate or script changes and validation processes

Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a System Security Engineer or Information Security Engineer
  • Experience in building, maintaining and operating security systems and platforms
  • Hands on experience in a number of security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, data loss prevention systems, web proxies, etc
  • Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools
  • Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols (such as zero trust, etc)
  • Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure

Job Summary:
The Information Security Engineer is responsible for designing, building and maintaining enterprise IT security solutions to address the organization’s security requirements. Reporting to the Information Security Services Lead, this role will work closely with IT Innovation Lab, software engineering teams, IT infrastructure team, IT compliance, security operations and cyber technology risk team.
Job Duties:
Responsibilities

  • Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information
  • Identify and define system security requirements
  • Design computersecurity architecture and develop detailedcyber securitydesigns
  • Configure and troubleshoot security systems and infrastructure devices
  • Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
  • Maintain all solution design documentation, processes, procedures and report on metrics to demonstrate effective and efficient management of services.
  • Work with handling service requests on security tool standard changes, such as proxy whitelisting requests
  • Delivery security service on-boarding such as security agent install, connecting systems to SIEM
  • Review IT systems to ensure that they have met security acceptance criteria.
  • Work with product vendors and suppliers to maintain and enhance existing security tooling and products
  • Ensure that the organization security tools can detect and help with the response to cyber security incidents.
  • Document and validate disaster recovery testing for CyberSecurity tools.
  • Write comprehensive reports including assessment-based findings, outcomes and propositions for further system security enhancements
  • Support in managing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for security solutions which includes new investments and business-as-usual financials.
  • Design and execute processes to make BAU changes to security tools (eg web proxy changes, DLP mail rule changes, etc)
  • Automate or script changes and validation processes
Requirements:
  • Proven work experience as a System Security Engineer or Information Security Engineer
  • Experience in building, maintaining and operating security systems and platforms
  • Hands on experience in a number of security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, data loss prevention systems, web proxies, etc
  • Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools
  • Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols (such as zero trust, etc)
  • Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
