The Opportunity Responsibilities
  1. Demonstrate understanding of the security marketplace and available security systems solutions.
  2. Assist and lead in the planning of physical and electronic security measures.
  3. Assist the delivery of technical services and deliverables.
  4. Liaise with subject experts within the organization.
  5. Manage the commercial, technical, and program delivery aspects of security projects.
  6. Work with clients during project delivery and help develop business in China and East Asia.
  7. Occasional business travel as required.
Qualifications & Experience
  1. Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or experience in designing ELV systems.
  2. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in physical and electronic security, including ICT and ELV systems.
  3. Experience in ICT or ELV system design, specification, and implementation.
  4. Overseas work experience is advantageous.
  5. Positive attitude, high potential, flexibility.
  6. Proficiency in English and Chinese (spoken and written).

Contract Duration: Long-term / Two-year contract

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control all security systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm systems, etc., and take appropriate actions according to operational procedures, such as notifying relevant personnel or initiating emergency protocols.
  • Regularly test monitoring and alarm systems to ensure proper functioning, and report any system faults or technical issues promptly.
  • Record all security-related incidents, including alarms, system failures, security breaches, and prepare detailed reports.
  • Assist supervisors in developing work procedures and training new staff to ensure familiarity with their roles.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by supervisors, such as handling daily administrative duties, security audits, risk assessments, supporting project management, and participating in departmental planning activities.
  • Shift work may be required, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant security, business, or management certification/diploma or equivalent; a university degree is preferred.
  • At least three years of relevant work experience, including a minimum of one year in team management.
  • Valid security personnel license and Hong Kong driving license (Category 1) preferred.
  • Proficient in Chinese (including Cantonese) and English communication skills.
  • Computer literacy in office applications.
  • Responsible, good interpersonal skills, communication, and supervision abilities.
  • Strong security awareness.

Job Description

Contract Duration: Long-term / Two-year contract

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control all security systems, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm systems, etc., and take appropriate actions according to operational procedures, such as notifying relevant personnel or initiating emergency protocols.
  • Regularly test monitoring and alarm systems to ensure proper functioning, and report any system faults or technical issues promptly.
  • Record all security-related incidents, including alarms, system failures, security breaches, and prepare detailed reports.
  • Assist supervisors in developing work procedures and training new staff to ensure familiarity with their roles.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by supervisors, such as handling daily administrative duties, security audits, risk assessments, supporting project management, and participating in departmental planning activities.
  • Shift work may be required, including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant security, business, or management certification/diploma or equivalent; a university degree is preferred.
  • At least three years of relevant work experience, including a minimum of one year in team management.
  • Valid security personnel license and Hong Kong driving license (Category 1) preferred.
  • Proficient in Chinese (including Cantonese) and English communication skills.
  • Computer literacy in office applications.
  • Responsible, good interpersonal skills, communication, and supervision abilities.
  • Strong security awareness.

We are seeking a diligent and proactive Information Security Officer to oversee and maintain the operational integrity, security, and compliance of our secured room facilities. This role is critical in supporting ongoing monitoring, access control, and administrative processes to ensure the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance are met.

Your Role

  • Conduct monthly inspection of access logs and CCTV reviews to ensure adherence to security protocols.
  • Manage user access applications on a bi-weekly or ad hoc basis, in line with corporate access governance procedures.
  • Complete and maintain a monthly secured room checklist, covering physical and operational controls.
  • Perform monthly access inventory assessments, including user recertification activities. • Address administrative and technical issues such as network or hardware incidents on an ad hoc basis.
  • Coordinate monitoring and inspection of the Foshan secured room (monthly and as needed).
  • Perform daily monitoring of security guard performance and escalate concerns when appropriate.
  • Assist in implementing security control enhancements such as mobile device management (MDM), two-factor authentication (2FA), and ID verification improvements

To Succeed in this Role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in information security, risk management, or a related role.
  • Knowledge of network security principles and incident response procedures.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess security risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to address technical and administrative issues as they arise.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to convey security policies and procedures clearly to stakeholders.
