Job Description

  • Lead and manage a team of finance professionals to deliver effective and high performance of financial services across the company, including offices in EU region.

  • With working experience in ICT industries will be an advantage.
  • Proven expertise in overseeing financial operations in multiple regions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with excellent business acumen and strategic insight.
  • Independent, with exceptional interpersonal, leadership, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in computerized accounting systems (e.g., Oracle Account).
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English, Mandarin, and Cantonese
  • Candidate with less experience will be consider as Assistant Director, Finance

End-to-End Control Buyout Execution

A Successful Director/Executive Director - M&A Should Have

  • 8-12 years of experience in M&A at a private equity fund or investment bank; minority or non-control investments are less relevant for this role
  • Native Mandarin and fluent english
  • Proven track record in leading control deals or LBOs, with hands-on experience in deal structuring and post-investment management
  • Familiarity with Cayman/Hong Kong fund structures, investment committee processes, compliance, valuation, and operations is a plus
  • Strategic industry insight, especially in manufacturing, industrial tech, or consumer sectors, is highly valued

Job Description

Position Overview

The Commercial Director will spearhead Conrad Hong Kong’s commercial strategy, driving revenue growth and market share through innovative sales, marketing, and revenue management initiatives. Leading a dynamic team, this role ensures the hotel’s competitive edge by optimizing business performance across all segments while fostering strong client and stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute holistic sales and marketing strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and market positioning. Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team across sales, marketing, catering, and reservations.
  • Revenue Optimization: Collaborate with Cluster Revenue Managers to refine pricing strategies, demand forecasting, and business mix, ensuring agile responses to market fluctuations.
  • Market Expansion: Design and implement targeted (digital) marketing campaigns, with a focus on expanding the hotel’s footprint in Mainland China and other key markets.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and performance metrics to refine strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate partnerships with top clients, industry stakeholders and OTA partners to drive loyalty and revenue growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with F&B, Health Club, and other departments to align commercial strategies with broader hotel objectives. Serve as a key advisor to the executive team, presenting insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong alignment with Hilton’s regional teams on brand initiatives, loyalty programs and market-specific campaigns. Actively contribute to commercial reviews, including ownership meetings.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in hospitality sales and marketing, with a proven track record of revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Strategic thinker with expertise in market analysis, pricing strategies and digital marketing. Deep knowledge of Mainland China’s travel market and consumer behaviour is a plus.
  • Inspirational leader with exceptional team-building and coaching abilities.
  • Strong business acumen, negotiation skills and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in translating data into impactful strategies.
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese required; Mandarin proficiency is advantageous.

  • Lead, coach, manage and mentor a team of art directors, designers, copywriter and when required, multi-media producers including CGI artists (for 3D/CGI projects with Marks NA or MNL team support)
  • Support the overall direction of the creative team and enforce accountability when standards are not met
  • Work with the Regional Creative Director and VP, Design to develop and grow the creative department staffing strategies and plans, including; team performance, composition, expertise, skills, training and mentoring
  • Work directly with client leads and strategy to establish the creative/marketing objectives, strategies, tactics and required creative executions
  • Actively participate in client presentations (both up-front fact-finding meetings, presentation of finished creative strategies and executions; workshops or work session in collaboration with Strategy and Account Management Team)
  • Build trust-based relationships with Key Clients for regional and global clients with the Account Management teams
  • Leading by example, inspiring your team to produce exceptional, insightful work that fully explores, challenges and goes beyond the brief.
  • Approving work before client submission, maintaining our quality of output. Support or lead client presentation with Account Management Team.
  • Acting as the design consultant to Account/Client Management, aligning briefs to the client and brand needs, adding richness and insight to enable best-in-class design

  • Maximising design resources, managing team’s workflow to deliver efficiently, adapting the plan when things change in partnership with Resource Management.
  • Growing the Hong Kong team by coaching, setting clear objectives, following the PDR/appraisal process with Regional Creative Director/VP Design.
  • Ensuring your team follow file, server, naming conventions, business policies and process.

  • Bilingual – Fluent in spoken and written English and Mandarin
  • Exceptional print / production/ material knowledge
  • Adobe CC, Office, Sketching, Advantages if familiar with 3D software and strong visualization skills

Experience:

  • 8-12 years’ experience within a Brand/Packaging Design/Shopper Marketing/Retail Design agency in Snr Creative Design roles, with extensive experience in brand, integrated campaign strategy, shopper marketing, shopper journey to final instore retail solutions, retail innovations and seamless retail experience, online and offline
  • With at least 4-year experience managing a creative department
  • A strong knowledge of digital, social and e-commerce advertising/marketing
  • Experience leading campaign development and directing creative execution
  • Strong organizational abilities, including time and resource management
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Reputation for selecting and developing highly qualified employees to sustain superior overall quality of client services
  • Refined personal development skills, a team player and collaborator
  • A degree in Graphic Design, Product/Industrial Design, Illustration, Digital or related field
