Key Areas of Responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounts for entities under asset management and principal investments.
- Prepare monthly Financial Resources Rule returns (Type1, 4, 9) and ensure strict compliance under SFC regulations.
- Oversee financial controls & reporting, financial analytics, regulatory financial compliance (client money & FRR), and audit & taxation matters for the related business lines.
- Analyze the financial positions and performance and provide value adding information to the management
- Advise on accounting and finance related regulatory matters for new products & business flows
- Evaluate and implement robust internal controls and efficient accounting process
- Communicate and work closely various functions in the organization
- Brainstorm and implement ideas to improve the work flow & output quality using technology
- Handle ad-hoc financial enquiries and assignments
Requirements
- Degree holder
- CPA or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 5+ years relevant experiences in financial services/ financial reporting
- Familiarity with IFRS and FRR reporting.
- In-depth knowledge in accounting, financial products, regulatory requirements and industry operations.
- Proficiency in use of computer systems including MS office, ERP systems such as SAP
- Excellent communications skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- High level of work ethics, professional integrity and compliance of internal control policies
