We are looking for a Senior IT Officer based at Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong!
As a Senior IT Officer , we rely on you to:
- Assist I.T. Manager in maintaining computer hardware peripherals and application software, including interfaces, for the continuous and trouble-free hotel’s computer system operation
- Monitor hotel network and guest network infrastructure and to ensure data integrity and systems stability
- Study and evaluate new products, software packages and various system patches and propose implementation schedule to I.T. Manager
- Conduct operation training to users on efficient utilization of application systems and provide technical training
- Control system security, maintain accurate users accounts and access rights update, review system backup process and schedule disaster recovery drill
- Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by I.T. Manager
- Support other ad-hoc business assignments as required
- Degree holder in Computing, Information Technology, or related disciplines
- At least 3 years of diverse experience on infrastructure projects, system application and share service support, experience in hospitality industry is an advantage
- Proven track record in leading an I.T. Share Service (IT Service Center) team for supporting the operations
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience in networking / server projects
- Effective negotiation and vendor management skills with excellent organizational and time management skills
- Holder of Microsoft certification or ITIL would be definitely an advantage
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese

Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform IT audits, regulatory audits, financial Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls testing and advisory reviews. As part of the IT audit responsibilities, the successful candidate will test controls relating to IT processes such as operations, security, system development, change management, application controls such as automated data interface reconciliation controls and other controls in operational areas/functions including Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems.
- On assigned audits/project, take ownership on key components of the end-to-end audit process, such as audit planning (perform walkthroughs, draft risk assessments), fieldwork (execute controls testing), and reporting (draft audit reports/memos/control deficiencies).
- Use problem solving and critical thinking skills to identify internal control deficiencies, evaluate their risk implications, and draw the appropriate conclusions to best advise management auditees.
- Play a substantive role with audits including SOX controls testing and required reviews by managing information request lists and providing regular status updates to IA management and auditees on progress of the audits or controls testing.
- Provide support to junior staff on assigned audits and SOX cycles. Additionally, perform testing for higher risk processes and controls.
- Build and nurture positive working relationships with management auditees.
- Contribute to IA’s on-going focus to continuous improvement in our audit processes using AI capabilities.
- A minimum of 3 years in IT audit experience.
- Experience with IT controls (e.g., application logical security, software development, change management, disaster recovery, application controls including data interfaces and reconciliation controls)
- Experience in the insurance industry (e.g., Property, Casualty, Life etc.) is desirable.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Must be a team player with proven track record of collaboration.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to understand complex processes.
- Basic project management skills are preferrable.
- Professional level of fluency in using Mandarin and English.
- Travel to locations in Mainland China around 25%.
- Relevant degree.
- Relevant professional designations (e.g., CISA, etc.).
- Familiar with IT Audit Concepts, including Information Security, Application Development Controls, Disaster Recovery, Computer Operations Controls, System Development Implementation Controls and Application Controls including data interfaces and reconciliation controls.

- Define end-to-end IT strategy, standard and process, establish framework and operation model for API-led and Microservices architecture applications on cloud-based and container platform.
- Develop and maintain architecture principles, standards and best practices related to enterprise architectures, and ensure they are consistently applied.
- Facilitate legacy applications transformation to new API platform and Microservice architecture.
- Standardize CI/CD setup for DevSecOps, API management tools and automated deployment with API monitoring and service management mechanisms.
- Identify, evaluate and manage the associated risks related to Application and Cloud architecture.
- Research, identify, and evaluate new technologies or products in the related area that are of value to IT strategy.
- Provide advisories for technology innovations for business challenges.
- Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines.
- At least 10 years of post-qualification IT experience with minimum 5 years in Application Architect related roles, preferably in banking or financial services industries.
- Strong experience in managing enterprise IT application architecture, and providing advisories for technical solution of various IT projects and applications of the Bank.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT application architectures, particularly in IaaS, PaaS, SaaS enterprise cloud computing and containerized architectures and technology.
- Experience in working with Kubernetes container platform, Cloud platform, GitLab, CI/CD pipeline is a plus.
- Experience in digital transformation, transforming from Monolithic to Microservice application, Domain Driven Design (DDD) is a great plus.
- Good understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF.

**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Collaborate with various departments to review and analyze business requests, ensuring alignment with company priorities and strategic objectives.
+ Translate business needs into clear and concise user requirement documents, functional specifications, and visual mock-ups for proposed IT solutions.
+ Conduct impact assessments and recommend cost-effective, scalable solutions that support business growth and operational efficiency.
+ Facilitate discussions and build consensus among stakeholders, business partners, and IT development teams to ensure shared understanding and alignment.
+ Lead and participate in all phases of project planning and execution while tracking requirements, deliverables, and testing progress.
+ Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for internal business systems, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
+ Deliver effective system training and support to business users, ensuring smooth adoption and optimal usage of new tools and features.
+ Define test strategies, develop test plans, and manage testing teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives and quality standards.
+ Take ownership of system and project-related issues, driving root cause analysis and resolution in a timely manner.
+ Design and generate reports to meet business and regulatory requirements, perform data analysis, and ensure data integrity.
+ Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering the development of their business analysis skills and professional growth.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Degree holder in information systems, business administration or related discipline.
+ At least 8 years of experiences business analysis, ideally in pensions, insurance or financial services
+ Familiarity with MPF regulations and experience in Mandatory Provident Funds application development is a strong advantage
+ Well organized and attentive to details, flexible with working hours
+ Good analytical and problem-solving skills, and disciplined with project scheduling
+ Self-initiated and have a strong drive to learn
+ Good understanding in SQL and experience in APIs
+ Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira and Confluence is essential
+ Able to clearly articulate business processes and ideas verbally and in written English
+ Experience and knowledge in complicate testing execution and support
+ Experience in leading junior team members and groom them to work independently

Job Description
- To assist in administration, support, migration and implementation of central IT infrastructure in SDWAN network.
- To assist his/her supervisor in infrastructure upgrade with disaster recovery;
- To provide network infrastructure support in DH offices and clinics;
- To provide support in network / security devices and DH server rooms operation;
- To provide network infrastructure support in health related and clinical information systems;
- To handle enquiries from different parties (including non-technical);
- To provide maintenance support on IT inventory and server room items;
- To provide procurement support on software and hardware;
- To operate and maintain the departmental server rooms;
- To supervise contractors for network implementation and to assist his/her supervisor and users to conduct system acceptance test and user acceptance test; and

- Experience in various networking products such as Cisco, Huawei, H3C and Fortinet;

The right candidate becomes a member of our IT Architect Office which is the technical authority to govern, design and build enterprise-level architecture for the Bank.
Job Responsibilities
- Build Enterprise Application Architecture to align with the technology roadmaps of the Bank.
- Define end-to-end IT strategy, standard and process, establish framework and operation model for API-led and Microservices architecture applications on cloud-based and container platform.
- Develop and maintain architecture principles, standards and best practices related to enterprise architectures, and ensure they are consistently applied.
- Facilitate legacy applications transformation to new API platform and Microservice architecture.
- Standardize CI/CD setup for DevSecOps, API management tools and automated deployment with API monitoring and service management mechanisms.
- Identify, evaluate and manage the associated risks related to Application and Cloud architecture.
- Research, identify, and evaluate new technologies or products in the related area that are of value to IT strategy.
- Provide advisories for technology innovations for business challenges.
- Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines.
- At least 10 years of post-qualification IT experience with minimum 5 years in Application Architect related roles, preferably in banking or financial services industries.
- Strong experience in managing enterprise IT application architecture, and providing advisories for technical solution of various IT projects and applications of the Bank.
- Strong understanding of enterprise IT application architectures, particularly in IaaS, PaaS, SaaS enterprise cloud computing and containerized architectures and technology.
- Experience in working with Kubernetes container platform, Cloud platform, GitLab, CI/CD pipeline is a plus.
- Experience in digital transformation, transforming from Monolithic to Microservice application, Domain Driven Design (DDD) is a great plus.
- Good understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF.
- Good knowledge of emerging technologies, market best practices and industry trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).
- Proven strategic thinker to provide big picture and visions for future technology development.
- Self-motivated, open mindsets, good problem solving and troubleshooting skills with strong "can-do" attitude.
- Holder of related professional certificates will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with less experience will be considered as IT Architect.
