We're looking for an experienced media relations and PR professional who can support us in engaging local media and securing editorial content placements.

Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area China is an important new markets for us and as such we have ongoing announcements and news that we would like to be using to raise awareness and build consideration.

NEC Contracts has partnerships with government entities and other corporate bodies across Singapore, who we will be aligning with on news outreach.

We are looking for someone ideally with experience in the construction or infrastructure sector, but particularly in B2B, who can support this activity; helping us with local nuances and ensuring our messaging works for the media. Ultimately being a proactive extension of our internal team placing news stories and engaging media at key moments for the business.

Projects will be ad-hoc throughout the year and on a day rate basis. Much of the content will be created in the UK and we would expect the local resource to translate as needed and use to pitch local and relevant press. We would also hope the freelancer can look to secure interview ops, comment and opinion pieces, and other formats of coverage that may be relevant for the project.

Essential Job Functions:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals, managing various sales cycle demands effectively.

• Lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support in the sales process.

• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline while continuously educating customers about products, pricing, and market differentiators.

• Build and maintain client relationships to drive sales growth.

• Analyze market data for potential opportunities and adapt strategies as needed.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring departmental alignment and synergy.

• Introduce process improvements and innovative technologies to the sales process.

• Participate in sales negotiations and contribute to deal closings.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience

• Typically, 7+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar role

• Proven track record in sales and sales enablement

• Proficiencies in sales strategy development, customer relationship management, and market analysis

• A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology

Other Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus

• Relevant certifications such as Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or Certified Sales Enablement Professional (CSEP) a plus

The Role

Fund Accounting & Administration:

• Bookkeeping
• Utilize Paxus fund administration system
• Support fund servicing activities, including reconciliations and reporting.

Corporate Accounting Support:

• Assist in simple FRR reporting and other corporate accounting tasks.

Operational Duties:

• Provide asset servicing and investment product support for the newly established SFC-licensed entity.
• Ensure compliance and operational efficiency across all fund structures.

Requirement

• 2-5 years of experience in accounting and operations, ideally with exposure to fund administration system.
• Prior experience in fund services, asset management, or family offices is a plus.
• CPA qualification is optional but welcomed.
• Strong attention to detail, proactive attitude, and ability to work independently within a small team.

• Lead and manage interest rate risk, liquidity risk, and banking book currency risk activities.
• Develop, implement, and maintain interest rate risk management frameworks and policies, ensuring compliance with HKMA, Basel III, IRRBB, and internal standards.
• Conduct risk measurement, stress testing, scenario analysis, gap/duration management, and analysis for asset-liability management.
• Guide risk assessment for treasury products and support hedging, limit setting, and mitigation actions for asset and liability management.
• Collaborate with treasury, finance, and other risk management teams to ensure comprehensive asset-liability management and optimize interest rate risk-return profiles.
• Support asset and liability management processes and contribute to banking book risk and funding strategies. Report to senior management on risk exposure.
• Provide analysis and advice on market developments related to interest rate movements, policy changes, and macroeconomic impacts.
• Lead or participate in projects aimed at enhancing risk measurement tools and models, including system upgrades.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory changes and best practices in market and interest rate risk management.

Requirements -

• Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, economics, quantitative disciplines, or a closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant work experience in interest rate risk, ALM, treasury, or market risk roles; team leader experience preferred.
• Knowledge of IRRBB regulations (e.g., HKMA, Basel III), ALM tools, and banking products.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills, with proficiency in risk reporting, Excel, and SAS.
• Advanced proficiency in Oracle, Python and Bloomberg knowledge is a plus.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, ECF) preferred.

• Well-versed in Employment Ordinance and related regulatory requirements
• Mature, detail-minded, attentive to details and able to multitask
• A good team player, proactive, responsible and self-motivated
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, preferably fluent in Mandarin
