They are looking for a senior executive as CFO & Executive Director at Group level to oversee all the finance functions of all the companies listed in HK Stock Market. As the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in driving the transformation, financial strategy and operations of the organisation, contributing to its continued growth and success.

Responsibilities

  • Directly reporting to the Vice Chairman, this role will be accountable for both strategic & operational roles to provide a clear financial picture and implement new initiatives to drive a better financial performance and ensure a sustainable & optimal growth for the Group.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to the executive team and Board of Directors for investment & management decisions.
  • Oversee all financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities to ensure the company's financial targets are met.
  • Work closely with business units to establish budgets & forecasts and regularly track performance.
  • Manage the company's accounting, financial reporting, and tax compliance functions
  • Ensure delivery of the financial reports within time and accuracy as as well compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards
  • Review financial analysis of the business with variance explanation and make recommendations to achieve business targets and improve cost efficiency.
  • Check and measure the key initiatives and strategic action are delivered within defined operational, commercial and financial targets.
  • Carry out strategic planning, financial analysis and identify market trends & deliver resourceful solutions to assist management’s decision making.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Contribute to the overall business strategy and decision-making process.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with financial institutions and banks.
  • Provide support for ad-hoc analyses and reports.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related disciplines. MBA is a plus
  • Professional qualification with HKICPA or equivalent. Holder of CFA qualification is an advantage
  • Minimum 15 years solid experiences in senior financial management role with at least 8 years’ at supervisory level, preferably gained listed companies in Hong Kong
  • Proven record in driving financial performance, financial control, budgeting, restructuring, transformation.
  • Mature, strong analytical, interpersonal, presentation and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a matrix organisation and be double down
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese

About the role:

As the Chief Risk Officer at FundPark, you will be responsible for overseeing Credit Underwriting, Overall Risk Management (including portfolio risk, market risk, operational risk, etc.), and Legal & Compliance functions. What You Do:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive risk management policies and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments and analysis to identify potential threats and opportunities.
  • Monitor and manage credit underwriting processes to minimize default risks.
  • Implement strategies to mitigate portfolio risks and market risks effectively.
  • Oversee operational risk management practices to enhance efficiency and security.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Lead the Legal & Compliance team to address legal issues and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align risk management strategies with business objectives.
  • Provide regular risk reports and updates to the CEO and Executive Committee Members.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging risks, and best practices in risk management.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies for new products or business initiatives.
  • Conduct stress tests and scenario analyses to assess the organization's resilience to adverse events.
  • Foster a culture of risk awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, regulators, and other relevant parties.
  • Lead the response to risk incidents and crises effectively.

Requirements

What You Need to Have:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in risk leadership roles within the financial services, eCommerce, or banking industries.
  • Strong understanding of credit underwriting processes and risk management principles.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing risk management strategies.
  • Excellent knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in both Mandarin Chinese and English languages; Cantonese proficiency is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external stakeholders.
