Job Duties

  • Market Research & Positioning: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to define the product’s value proposition, positioning, and key differentiators.
  • Messaging & Content Creation: Develop compelling sales enablement materials and communication (e.g. app push, EDM, website content, leaflets & videos, etc) to educate target audiences and communicate product features, benefits, and unique selling points.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Project Management: Work closely with product, marketing, business development, customer success, brand, and design teams to align messaging and support go-to-market initiatives.
  • Performance Tracking & Optimisation: Monitor the effectiveness of product marketing campaigns, leveraging insights to refine strategies and enhance go-to-market efforts.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in product marketing; experience in B2B payments, banking, or the SaaS industry is a MUST.
  • Demonstrated success in creating impactful marketing materials that drive engagement and conversions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams with minimal supervision.

HQ Group Marketing is seeking highly skilled and experienced AVP/Senior Manager, Retail and Product Marketing . As a key member of the team, will play a pivotal role in driving the development and growth of Shangri-La Group’s luxury retail and product offerings. This includes identifying opportunities, sourcing premium products, launching new lifestyle retail concepts, and managing end-to-end execution across retail channels.

This role requires an experienced individual with a strong background in F&B retail and a proven ability to curate product lines across F&B, wellness, personal care, and home lifestyle categories (in launch priority). The ideal candidate will also serve as a primary point of contact for F&B product marketing and will be responsible for marketing strategy and execution that supports brand elevation, guest engagement, and incremental revenue.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Identify and evaluate luxury product and sourcing opportunities across F&B, wellness, personal care, and home lifestyle categories, ensuring brand alignment with Shangri-La’s premium positioning.
  • Benchmark best-in-class F&B retail concepts to guide product development and merchandising strategies.
  • Develop pilot concepts including shop-in-shop layouts and customer journey maps to support retail space development.
  • Source, brief, and brand partners to co-develop or white-label exclusive products that reflect Shangri-La’s brand values.
  • Approve prototypes and manage pilot production timelines for new retail product lines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless rollout and retail execution across channels.
  • Drive marketing strategy and execution for new product launches, campaigns, and seasonal promotions, particularly focusing on F&B retail products.
  • Analyse sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to refine offerings, improve guest engagement, and optimize revenue potential.
  • Develop strong vendor relationships to ensure timely, quality-assured, and cost-effective delivery of products.
  • Prepare and present performance reports and merchandising insights to senior management, making recommendations for improvement and growth.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in product development, merchandising, or sourcing, ideally within premium F&B retail or high-end hospitality brands.
  • Strong understanding of luxury consumer behaviour, particularly in the F&B and lifestyle sectors.
  • Proven experience in launching retail concepts, developing in-store experiences, and managing multi-channel retail strategies.
  • Demonstrated expertise in marketing execution with the ability to lead integrated campaigns that drive sales and elevate brand perception.
  • Skilled in managing partnerships, product prototyping, and pilot production.
  • Excellent negotiation, project management, and stakeholder communication skills.

The Opportunity:

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) for Tech & Product will serve as a proactive and insightful business partner to Agoda’s Technology and Product organizations. This role is responsible for driving people strategies, supporting organizational effectiveness, and enabling leadership and talent development in alignment with Agoda’s business objectives. The HRBP will work closely with business leaders, People team Centers of Excellence (COEs), and other HRBPs to deliver on people priorities and support Agoda’s evolving business needs.

In this Role, you’ll get to:

  • Closely partner with (senior) managers, embedding within the business units to deeply understand the business and organizational strategy, culture, talent landscape, and other people aspects
  • Define, shape, and deliver a compelling People Roadmap which will enable us to deliver high-impact People programs and solutions that address both company-wide priorities and the unique needs of Agoda’s Tech and Product departments, ensuring efficiency and consistency at scale
  • Move beyond transactions by anticipating business needs and implementing proactive, scalable, future-proof HR solutions that drive long-term value
  • Use data and insights to inform decision-making, track and measure the impact of people initiatives, and provide stakeholders with actionable intelligence (e.g., exit insights, retention strategy, engagement data, performance management patterns)
  • Serve as a change agent, supporting organizational transformation and continuous improvement efforts
  • Lead talent identification, retention, and development, talent reviews, and succession planning to build a strong leadership bench and a future-ready workforce
  • Drive strategic workforce planning, organizational design, and change management to ensure Agoda remains agile, competitive, and ready for the future
  • Serve as the connector and coach across our People (HR) team, build capability beyond own team, establishing and refining a clear operating model that enables seamless collaboration and execution

What you’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field is required
  • A minimum of 8 to 10 years experience in HR Business Partnering roles
  • Demonstrated experience embedding People and culture into business leadership, ideally at scale and in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Ability to flex between company-wide strategy and tailored solutions for specific business groups, with a strong business partnership mindset
  • Skilled at aligning and connecting HR functions, building strong relationships, and driving collaboration across teams
  • Expertise in leadership effectiveness, engagement, talent management, rewards, succession planning, and organizational design
  • Experience with workforce planning, organizational agility, and leading change initiatives
  • Outstanding ability to communicate with influence, use data to inform decisions, and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to cope well with ambiguity and change
  • Willingness to get hands-on and tackle operational HR tasks as needed. Especially during transformation. You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and support the team wherever needed to drive results
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, with strong communication skills to effectively convey complex information

The Opportunity:
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) for Tech & Product will serve as a proactive and insightful business partner to Agoda’s Technology and Product organizations. This role is responsible for driving people strategies, supporting organizational effectiveness, and enabling leadership and talent development in alignment with Agoda’s business objectives. The HRBP will work closely with business leaders, People team Centers of Excellence (COEs), and other HRBPs to deliver on people priorities and support Agoda’s evolving business needs.
In this Role, you’ll get to:

  • Closely partner with (senior) managers, embedding within the business units to deeply understand the business and organizational strategy, culture, talent landscape, and other people aspects
  • Define, shape, and deliver a compelling People Roadmap which will enable us to deliver high-impact People programs and solutions that address both company-wide priorities and the unique needs of Agoda’s Tech and Product departments, ensuring efficiency and consistency at scale
  • Move beyond transactions by anticipating business needs and implementing proactive, scalable, future-proof HR solutions that drive long-term value
  • Use data and insights to inform decision-making, track and measure the impact of people initiatives, and provide stakeholders with actionable intelligence (e.g., exit insights, retention strategy, engagement data, performance management patterns)
  • Serve as a change agent, supporting organizational transformation and continuous improvement efforts
  • Lead talent identification, retention, and development, talent reviews, and succession planning to build a strong leadership bench and a future-ready workforce
  • Drive strategic workforce planning, organizational design, and change management to ensure Agoda remains agile, competitive, and ready for the future
  • Serve as the connector and coach across our People (HR) team, build capability beyond own team, establishing and refining a clear operating model that enables seamless collaboration and execution
What you’ll Need to Succeed:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field is required
  • A minimum of 8 to 10 years experience in HR Business Partnering roles
  • Demonstrated experience embedding People and culture into business leadership, ideally at scale and in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Ability to flex between company-wide strategy and tailored solutions for specific business groups, with a strong business partnership mindset
  • Skilled at aligning and connecting HR functions, building strong relationships, and driving collaboration across teams
  • Expertise in leadership effectiveness, engagement, talent management, rewards, succession planning, and organizational design
  • Experience with workforce planning, organizational agility, and leading change initiatives
  • Outstanding ability to communicate with influence, use data to inform decisions, and engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to cope well with ambiguity and change
  • Willingness to get hands-on and tackle operational HR tasks as needed. Especially during transformation. You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and support the team wherever needed to drive results
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, with strong communication skills to effectively convey complex information
