Our client, one of the statutory bodies in HK, support and provide services to maintain and improve the productivity in both commercial and industrial sector. They are now looking for Contract Project Officer to assist the operation of a funding programme.
Job Duties:
- Assist in implementing the Government funding programme to encourage enterprises in using technological solutions to improve productivity and transform their business processes
- Assist in initial assessment of the funding applications
- Prepare and review reports from the grantees and prepare relevant documents required for funding disbursement
- Perform quality control, keep track of project progress and give regular updates to supervisor
- Support project work, liaise with applicants and arrange meetings
- Handle enquiries and support on-site checking of funded projects
- Assist in maintaining the database and compiling reports
- Maintain proper documentation and filing records
- Handle other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Higher Diploma / Associate Degree in business, accounting, science, engineering, public administration, information management or related discipline
- 2 years or more full time working experience preferably with customer service and client facing experience
- Good problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive with positive working attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Chinese Word Processing
- Good command of English, Cantonese and Putonghua

Duties
The appointee will assist in handling technical and site matters for capital and alteration projects. He/She will be required to:
(a) assist in the planning and implementation of capital and alteration projects;
(b) prepare sketches, AutoCAD design and working drawings and other technical details including specifications relating to building services works;
(c) liaise and coordinate with departmental users, consultants and contractors for the implementation of user requirements, operation and maintenance of the projects;
(d) assist in the preparation of works orders and site instructions to contractors;
(e) conduct site inspections on workmanship of contractors' works, and witness the testing and commissioning of building services installations;
(f) assist in handover project works to maintenance team for operation and follow up on defect rectification works;
(g) assist in checking of payment bills, as-fitted drawings, operation and maintenance manuals submitted by contractors;
(h) update as-fitted and record drawings; and
(i) perform any other duties as assigned by the Director of the Office or his delegates.
Qualifications
Applicants should have:
(a) a recognised degree or diploma, preferably in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent qualification with at least three years of relevant post-qualification experience in engineering design on mechanical ventilation and air-conditioning and fire services alteration works; and
(b) a good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
Conditions of Service
A highly competitive remuneration package will be offered. Initial appointment will be on a fixed-term gratuity-bearing contract. Re-engagement thereafter is subject to mutual agreement.
