Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Revenue Manager (Hotels & Apartments) to join our dynamic team in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maximizing revenue and optimizing pricing strategies for our Hong Kong portfolio. This role requires a deep understanding of market trends, competitive analysis, and revenue management techniques.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement effective hotel revenue management strategies to maximize RevPAR and overall profitability.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand patterns to make informed pricing decisions to meet budget.
  • Set competitive room rates and manage inventory across various distribution channels, including OTA partnerships relevant to the Hong Kong market.
  • Monitor and adjust property-level pricing strategies based on real-time data, market conditions, and special events in Hong Kong.
  • Prepare and present detailed hotel revenue reports, channel performance, revenue forecasts, and recommendations to senior management.
  • Analyse performance metrics and adjust strategies to respond to market fluctuations.
  • Lead and mentor the revenue management team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development by continuously improving SOPs.
  • Work closely with sales, marketing, and hotel operations teams to ensure alignment on revenue goals and market positioning.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotions and packages that resonate with both local and international travelers.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in revenue management.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 year’s working experience in hotel revenue management or similar role
  • A team player with an entrepreneurial spirit who is not afraid to get their hands dirty
  • People-oriented, self-driven, and ambitious
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in hotel revenue management systems and tools.
  • Skilled in communicating and presenting effectively with internal and external parties
  • Proficiency in English is required, Cantonese/Mandarin and other languages are a strong plus
  • Proficiency in G Suite/Excel/Slack/ Hotel PMS and other cloud platforms

Role Purpose

  • Manage a portfolio of routes, ensuring efficient utilization of available inventory;
  • Execute revenue management strategies to meet revenue target;
  • Monitor inventory levels and proactively execute actions to optimize revenue;

  • Leverage complex data sets and exceptional analytical skills to identify revenue enhancement opportunities;
  • Anticipate market demand fluctuations and proactively adapt inventory strategies;
  • Minimize instances of spillage and spoilage
  • Take full ownership of all air ticket fares and air ancillary pricing;
  • Collaborate with the manager to strategize and execute tactical pricing initiatives;
  • Participate in conducting research and developing strategic pricing strategies;
  • Participate in and to implement the future pricing transformation initiatives;
  • Collaborate with regulatory authorities on all pricing-related filings and matters and to ensure compliance with all requirements;
  • Consistently assess market trends and competitor pricing.
  • Dynamically adapt pricing strategies to optimize revenue generation.
  • Ensure accurate setup of taxes and charges.
  • Provide regular reports to senior to update revenue performance to seniors;

The Ideal Candidate

  • Degree holder in Business Administration, Economic, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistic or other quantitative discipline;
  • 2 year of analytical quantitative data analysis experience preferred;
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with strong attention to details and accuracy;
  • Prior experiences in airline revenue management, airline ticket pricing or ancillary pricing is an advantage;
  • A quick learner with the ability to work independently and as a team;
  • Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines;
  • Proficient in Tableau, Advanced level of MS Excel;
  • Proficient in SQL and other database tools is strong advantage;
  • Candidates with less experience would be considered as Officer, Revenue Management;

About The Job

The Regional Director of Revenue Strategy, APAC, will be responsible for optimizing revenue performance and achieving financial goals across selected hotels in Asia Pacific. This includes refining pricing, distribution, and revenue strategies to drive profitability and competitiveness. The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders, market analysis, and the implementation of innovative approaches to maximize revenue and support the organization’s financial success.

As Regional Director of Revenue Strategy for APAC, you will be responsible for the following duties:

Strategic Guidance

  • Develop, implement, and continually refine comprehensive revenue management strategies for hotels assigned in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Take a leading role to ensure KPIs, Budgets and BSC for the hotels are met.
  • Nurture and grow a high performing Revenue Strategy team in each hotel, ensuring strong yield management strategies are adhered to and that leaders focus on all revenue streams such as F&B, meeting space and spa.
  • Lead the preparation for Property Reviews, Business Review Meetings, Budget Review Meetings and Hotel Visits.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of revenue management strategies, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.
  • Provide guidance to Marketing and Sales teams to drive the impact of campaigns and promotions on revenue.

Analysis and Reporting

  • Conduct regular financial analysis to evaluate the performance of revenue initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyse detailed reports on revenue metrics, forecasting accuracy, and market dynamics for presentation to senior leadership.
  • Analyse hotels distribution in all sales channels and segmentation mix.
  • Prepare and analyse reports as required, using various RM systems, including but not limited to Datavision, PowerBI, IDeaS, SynXis and TravelCLICK.
  • Act as resource for Revenue Management colleagues in the field and provide support, guidance, analysis, and insights for the on property commercial teams and GM as well as Regional/Global Team Members as required

Market and Competitor Analysis

  • Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and competitor actions to inform revenue strategies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to integrate market insights into promotional strategies.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on competitive intelligence.
  • Assist hotels in all renovation opportunities, calculating ROI, potential displacement, 10 year uplift plans.

Training, New Openings and Communication

  • Collaborate with hotel management, Marketing, and Sales teams to foster a culture of revenue optimization.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for Revenue and Commercial teams to enhance their understanding of revenue management principles.
  • Ensure effective communication and alignment of revenue goals across Marketing, Sales, and other relevant leaders
  • Provide Pre-opening support and training and actively engage with hotel pre-opening teams to ensure best practices are communicated and understood, room types and rate plans are set up according to MOHG standards.
  • Assist with coordination of new hotel builds in CRS/SynXis/PMS.
  • For new openings, take on a vital role in initial day-to-day tasks until on-property Revenue leaders has been hired, and fully trained.
  • Assist as on-property Task Force for vacant positions or prolonged Revenue Management absences.

Technology Utilization and Optimization

  • Leverage revenue management systems and technology tools to streamline processes and enhance decision-making.
  • Stay updated on industry-leading revenue management technologies and make recommendations for adoption.

As Regional Director of Revenue Strategy for APAC, we expect from you:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in revenue management within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of successful revenue optimization strategies at a regional or multi-property level.

Special Skills

  • Proficient in revenue management systems preferably IDeaS and other analytical tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends effectively.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of market trends, competitor actions, and industry best practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in relevant computer software, including MS Excel and revenue management tools.
  • Mandarin language skills would be an added advantage.

  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of revenue management strategies, making data-driven adjustments as necessary.
  • Provide guidance to Marketing and Sales teams to drive the impact of campaigns and promotions on revenue.
Analysis and Reporting
  • Conduct regular financial analysis to evaluate the performance of revenue initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
  • Analyse detailed reports on revenue metrics, forecasting accuracy, and market dynamics for presentation to senior leadership.
  • Analyse hotels distribution in all sales channels and segmentation mix.
  • Prepare and analyse reports as required, using various RM systems, including but not limited to Datavision, PowerBI, IDeaS, SynXis and TravelCLICK.
  • Act as resource for Revenue Management colleagues in the field and provide support, guidance, analysis, and insights for the on property commercial teams and GM as well as Regional/Global Team Members as required
Market and Competitor Analysis
  • Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and competitor actions to inform revenue strategies.
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to integrate market insights into promotional strategies.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on competitive intelligence.
  • Assist hotels in all renovation opportunities, calculating ROI, potential displacement, 10 year uplift plans.
Training, New Openings and Communication
  • Collaborate with hotel management, Marketing, and Sales teams to foster a culture of revenue optimization.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for Revenue and Commercial teams to enhance their understanding of revenue management principles.
  • Ensure effective communication and alignment of revenue goals across Marketing, Sales, and other relevant leaders
  • Provide Pre-opening support and training and actively engage with hotel pre-opening teams to ensure best practices are communicated and understood, room types and rate plans are set up according to MOHG standards.
  • Assist with coordination of new hotel builds in CRS/SynXis/PMS.
  • For new openings, take on a vital role in initial day-to-day tasks until on-property Revenue leaders has been hired, and fully trained.
  • Assist as on-property Task Force for vacant positions or prolonged Revenue Management absences.
Technology Utilization and Optimization
  • Leverage revenue management systems and technology tools to streamline processes and enhance decision-making.
  • Stay updated on industry-leading revenue management technologies and make recommendations for adoption.
As Regional Director of Revenue Strategy for APAC, we expect from you:
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Experience
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in revenue management within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of successful revenue optimization strategies at a regional or multi-property level.
Special Skills
  • Proficient in revenue management systems preferably IDeaS and other analytical tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends effectively.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of market trends, competitor actions, and industry best practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in relevant computer software, including MS Excel and revenue management tools.
  • Mandarin language skills would be an added advantage.

What you'll do

As a Business Coordinator for the Greater China and Southeast Asia region, you’ll play a key role in supporting both new business development and customer success. You’ll partner with our regional sales and marketing teams to build pipeline, support pre-sales activity, and ensure smooth onboarding and continued engagement with customers.

You’ll prospect new leads, qualify opportunities, and help tailor communications and materials to local needs. You’ll also be involved in post-sales support, acting as a bridge between our internal teams and our clients to ensure they’re engaged and successful.

You’ll prepare and localize presentations, attend events to identify new opportunities, support internal teams with documentation and CRM reporting, and help streamline the sales process from first contact through to ongoing customer satisfaction.

What you bring

  • 2–3 years of experience in sales coordination, operations, or business support
  • Comfortable using tools like Excel, Salesforce, and project management platforms
  • Detail-oriented with strong organization and documentation skills
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, international environment
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous exposure to SaaS, sales development, or customer success roles is a plus

The Analyst, Revenue Management and Pricing plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day hotel inventory management and ensuring the optimal functioning of hotel management systems to maximize hotel revenue. The role requires a strong understanding of the hotel market and company strategies, recommending and implementing suitable pricing and product decisions across various systems and channels. The analyst collaborates with Marketing, Sales, and Hotel Operations teams to support potential hotel business opportunities and compiles regular reports to aid management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities


  • Monitor property management, revenue management, and channel management systems to ensure proper interfacing, identifying and reporting issues in a timely manner.
  • Formulate and implement daily inventory and pricing decisions based on historical data, current trends, and future forecasts
  • Provide recommendations on availability and pricing for corporate transient accounts and ad-hoc groups across various distribution channels, aligning with pricing and product strategies.
  • Implement promotional offers and add-ons on designated websites and other digital channels.
  • Compile regular administrative reports, including daily hotel status, weekly forecasts, and market analysis to facilitate management decision-making.


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the hospitality industry; background in hospitality or resort operations is preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of hotel management systems, including PMS, RMS, and channel management systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including Macros and Visual Basic), Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in database management tools is a plus.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
  • Exceptional partnership, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Fluency in English and Cantonese is required; proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.
