Shipping Clerk

Job Description:

• Manage full set I/E, LC and shipping documents
• Communicate with internal teams on orders, inspections and shipments
• Update ERP and handle online related operations
• Monitor delivery schedules to ensure on-time delivery
• Coordinate with vendors, factories and forwarders for shipment related issues
• Work closely with overseas head office traffic team
• Conduct shipment booking and follow-up arrangements
• Data cross-checking
• Prepare monthly shipping reports
• Identify problems in operations process and resolve them in a quick and timely manner
• Systemic documentation filing
• Perform ad hoc job tasks and projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary education / DSE graduate or above
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in shipping field; toys industry an advantage
• Buying office or trading company experience
• LC experience
• Adept problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS office (Excel and Pivot Tables)
• ERP experience (Oracle experience a plus)
• Experience with container loading and consolidation
• Proactive, self-motivated, organized and team player, able to work under tight schedules and pressure
• Strong organizational skills, detailed minded, responsible with positive working attitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Experience shipping to Latin and South America a plus

We are looking for a Shipping Clerk that need to manage daily import and export operation.  Coordinate with forwarders, factories and customers for arrange shipment booking & delivery.  This role will be reporting directly in Shipping Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of Import and Export documents, L/C & bank document and Tradelink declaration
• Follow up daily shipment, overseas order and booking arrangement
• Issue Sales Contract and Purchase Order
• Work closely with factories, forwarders, overseas agents, customers & co-loaders and ensure all process on time
• Report to Shipping Manager

Requirement:

• Form 5 or above
• At least 3~5 years of relevant working experience in shipping and operation
• At least 3~5 years of experience of I/E and L/C documents in trading / manufacturing / buying offices is a must
• Familiar with MS Outlook, Word & Excel, English and Chinese word processing
• Good command in English and Mandarin
• Able to work independently, with high sense of responsibility
• Willing to work under pressure and overtime
