Yr(s) of experience:

5 years or above working experience in shipping or logistic scope

Qualification :

• Secondary 6 or Above (University degree holder will be much preferred)

• Good command in writing & speaking English/ Mandarin/ Cantonese

• PC knowledge: MS Word/ Excel/ Access/ PowerPoint

Requirements :

• Forwarding/ Logistics company (Air or Ocean) working experience (Shipping Service field will be much preferred)

• Strong organizational skills and time management skills,

• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

• Customer-oriented, outgoing, independent individual and able to work under pressure

• Self-motivated, independent, and possess a strong sense of responsibility

Responsibilities :

• Co-ordinate and communicate with oversea agents, customers & warehouse

• Work closely with internal departments, customers and forwarders to arrange shipment

• Independently handle shipment and relevant documents for Import/Export (including but not limited to debit note, monthly report to customer, etc.)

• Customer service mind with good hospitality and team concept

• Assist in ad- hoc project is required (Outdoor work required occasionally)

What you'll be doing:

· Oversee all shipping activities, keep updating shipment records and relevant information to other parties

· Support in work schedule planning and transport processes to ensure operational efficiency

· Handle all-around analysis on usage, volume and trend of transport services

· Resolve damages and discrepancies with shippers, vendors and other relevant parties

· Prepare transportation and monthly reports

· Handle all around ad-hoc assignments as requested

What we're looking for:

· Higher Diploma or above in Shipping, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related disciplines

· At least 2 years of experience in trading, shipping or logistics industry preferred

· Experience in handling shipping documents in Mainland and Macau is preferred

· Independent, self-motivated and good team player

· Good in Microsoft Office Word and Excel (Pivot Table, Vlookup, etc), and Chinese word processing

· Good written and spoken in English and Chinese

A sizeable manufacturing & trading company is now looking for a Shipping Supervisor to join their team.

Job duties

• Responsible for shipment arrangement, full set of import & export documents
• Coordinate with internal shipping team and external logistics company
• Liaise with customers and factories, suppliers on order delivery issue
• Lead a team of 3, report to Shipping manager
• Data Entry for reports ,  prepare related documents, stock control
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements

• 3-5 yeras solid shipping/logistics related experience, familiar with handling full set of I/E documents
• Good command of English and Mandarin
• Occational business trips (1/2 times per year)
• Independent, mature and responsible.
• Short notice/Immediate availlabe is highly preferred
