Coaches in Skills Lab are essential guides and mentors who facilitates learning through practice, offer tailored feedback, and motivate consultants to achieve their full potential. They play a crucial role in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, they help consultants gain confidence in their abilities, supporting them in applying skills in real-world situations by providing personalized feedback and support, enhancing the overall learning experience, and leading to better retention and mastery of skills. Coaches also play a crucial role in assessing FDM applicants' capabilities and fitness to join FDM, as well as support Sales analysing the clients' needs and aligning the Skills lab offering accordingly.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Lead and manage Skills Lab sessions, ensuring a productive and engaging learning environment

· Provide individualized feedback and support to consultants, addressing their specific needs and challenges

· Regularly evaluate consultants' performance through observation, one-on-one interview, and assessment tools

· Offer constructive feedback, highlighting strengths, suggesting areas for growth, marking, and uploading assessments results into the system, as well as logging the constructive feedback conversation with the consultants.

· Design and implement practical projects that align with the learning objectives.

· Foster a positive and motivating atmosphere, encouraging active participation and collaboration.

· Participate in the recruitment selection process by assessing candidates’ ability to learn new concepts and apply them in practical situations

· Lead mock interviews by simulating real interview scenarios tailored to the industry and job roles consultants are targeting

· Assist consultants in crafting professional resumes that effectively highlight their skills and achievements using FDM official templates

· Support Sales by acting as a SME aiding account managers in client calls and proposal creation

· When required, act as technical mentor in a Skills Lab Consultant POD by guiding consultants and showing them the way to solve some technical problems

What we look for

· Postgraduate degree and above in an IT related field.

· Relevant Industry experience of 3-5 years.

· Proven ability to learn new technologies and generate training documentation in a timely manner

· Exceptional communication and presentation skills

· Excellent analytical and demonstrated problem solving skills both technically and functionally

· Demonstrated ability to work closely with non-technical business owners on a technical solution.

· Works well in a fast-paced environment and within a team

· Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities

· Proven expertise in Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and working in an Agile environment.

Preferred qualifications

Candidates should have two or more of the following skills, depending on the primary practice they would be joining:

· AngularJS, Angular 7, NodeJS, React, and KnockoutJS

· Android Programming, PhoneGap, Cordova, Objective-C and Swift

· Selenium, Cucumber, Kubernetes, Jasmine, Karma, JSPerf, and JSFiddle

· DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Git, Puppet, Snort, and Splunk

· System administration in Windows Server and UNIX environments

· COBOL and Mainframe Systems

· RDBMS such as Microsoft SQL Server

· Cloud Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft SSIS

· Wireframe & Prototyping (MS Visio, Axure, and SketchFlow)

· Administering datacenters and enterprise networks

We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the company's workforce needs. You will collaborate with hiring managers to develop effective recruitment strategies, ensure a seamless candidate experience, and contribute to employer branding initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
Talent Sourcing & Recruitment

  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, resume screening, interviews, and offer negotiations
  • Utilize job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals to build a strong talent pipeline
Candidate Experience & Employer Branding
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication and a smooth hiring process
  • Conduct initial screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
Hiring Strategy & Collaboration
  • Work closely with hiring managers to define job requirements and create job descriptions
  • Provide guidance on best hiring practices and market trends
  • Develop data-driven recruitment strategies based on hiring needs and workforce planning
Recruitment Analytics & Reporting
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and source effectiveness
  • Provide regular reports and insights to improve hiring efficiency
  • Continuously assess and improve recruitment processes for better candidate engagement
Onboarding & Compliance
  • Support the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires
  • Maintain accurate candidate records using ATS (Applicant Tracking System)
Requirements
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 3 to 8 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition in financial industry
  • Fluency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is required
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and hiring trends
  • Familiarity with ATS and recruitment platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple hiring projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Candidate with knowledge in labor laws and employment regulations in Asia would be preferred

The Opportunity
We’re looking for a driven and self-motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist with 5–6 years of experience to play a key role in building our team across regions and functions. You’ll own the full recruitment cycle, from strategic sourcing and candidate experience to interviews and process design.
This role is ideal for someone who loves building processes, challenging the status quo, and going the extra mile to find exceptional candidates across tech, design, legal, business, and strategy roles.
What You’ll Be Doing

  • Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand job requirements, skill gaps, and team dynamics.
  • Source and attract high-quality candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and creative sourcing strategies.
  • Conduct and manage end-to-end interviews with an eye for both skill and culture fit.
  • Coordinate technical assessments, stakeholder interviews, and closing steps with hiring teams.
  • Champion a standout candidate experience, keeping all candidates informed and respected throughout the process.
  • Keep our ATS and LinkedIn systems up-to-date with precision and structure.
  • Contribute to the development of recruitment standards and processes as we scale.
  • Actively share insights to improve our hiring approach and challenge existing assumptions.
What We’re Looking For
  • 5–6 years of hands-on experience in talent acquisition or recruitment.
  • Strong global hiring experience across multiple functions and regions.
  • A builder mindset, you’ve helped shape or scale recruiting systems, playbooks, or standards.
  • Proven success in tech, design, legal, or strategic role hiring (even better if you've done multiple).
  • A knack for evaluating both skill and cultural alignment.
  • Ability to manage multiple pipelines independently and stay hyper-organized.
  • Fluent in using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and other sourcing tools.
  • Bold, proactive, and not afraid to ask “why not?” or try new approaches.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills that help you thrive in a fast-paced, team-first culture.

  • Have worked in a high-growth or startup environment.
  • Bring insights or experience from fintech or tech industries.
  • Have used AI/Automation tools
