Our client is a rapidly expanding FinTech company seeking a
Software QA Engineer
to join their team in Hong Kong. The role will focus on ensuring the quality of mobile and web applications, particularly within the financial lending domain, to deliver a secure and seamless user experience.

• 负责 App 和 Web 端的功能测试、兼容性测试与接口测试;
• 根据需求文档和用户场景,进行需求分析,设计测试用例,准备测试环境和测试数据;

• 执行测试用例,编写测试报告与测试总结,确保产品质量与迭代更新的稳定性;
• 把控测试质量、进度与风险,完成全流程测试,并对线上环境进行有效监控;
• 在完成既定功能测试后,基于对贷款业务的理解开展探索性测试,挖掘潜在缺陷与用户体验问题。
• Conduct testing for App and Web platforms, including functional, compatibility, and API testing.
• Analyze requirements and user scenarios to design test cases, prepare environments, and test data.
• Accurately log and track defects using tools such as Jira.
• Execute test cases, prepare reports and summaries, ensuring product quality and smooth releases.
• Manage testing quality, progress, and risks across the full testing cycle, including production monitoring.
• Perform exploratory testing leveraging financial lending domain knowledge to identify hidden defects and UX issues.

• 1 年及以上 C 端 App 测试经验,有金融 / 贷款产品测试经验者优先;
• 熟悉软件测试流程,包括计划、用例设计、执行与缺陷跟踪;
• 熟练掌握常见测试设计方法(等价类、边界值分析等);
• 具备问题定位与解决能力,能快速分析缺陷根源;
• 熟悉 Windows / Linux 环境,能够在不同操作系统中开展测试;
• 具备数据库基础,能使用 SQL 编写查询语句;
• 具备良好的沟通能力和团队协作能力;
• 工作细致、责任心强,对软件质量充满热情;
• 拥有快速学习和自我驱动力,能跟进新技术和测试方法。
• 1+ years of experience in C-end App testing; FinTech / lending product testing experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of software testing fundamentals and lifecycle (test planning, case design, execution, defect tracking).
• Proficient in test design methods such as equivalence partitioning and boundary value analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve defects.
• Familiar with Windows and Linux environments for testing.
• Basic database knowledge, able to write simple SQL queries.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and passionate about software quality.
• Strong learning ability and self-motivation to adopt new testing technologies.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct quality review of software applications.

· Design and execute manual or automated testing of API, UIUX and transaction flow of frontend/backend applications and mobile Apps.

· Ensure the quality, performance, security, and responsiveness of applications.

· Identify, document and track software issues.

· Effectively work with local and regional technical and product teams on issues investigation and resolution.

Requirements:

· Degree holder in IT, Computer Science, or related disciplines

· years of experience in software quality assurance.

· Knowledge of testing concepts and methodologies of quality assurance

· Familiar with testing tools such as Selenium, Postman, Junit, JMeter is an advantage.

· Experience in Java, shell script, SQL is a plus.

· Experience in developing test plans and test scripts.

· Knowledge and experience in online payment, fintech application or ecommerce system is an advantage.

· Good communication skills in English and Chinese.

3. Strong knowledge in security testing techniques.

Main Duties

• Handle staff dealing issues including preparation of consent letter sent to securities brokers of staff, in particular with expected increase in front office. This task is important in accordance with HK SFC Code of Conduct requirements
• Provide compliance briefing to new joiners so as to ensure new joiners adapt to BOS and regulatory requirements as well as bank culture
• Handle staff registration of licensed staff with HKMA so that front office can carry out regulated activities and account opening asap

• Provide regulatory compliance advice and support to management and staff of HK Branch
• Provide support to the existing general compliance and product compliance sub teams
• Assist in completing regulatory submission, surveys, offsite reviews and ad hoc requests (both HKMA and SFC)
• Assist in providing regulatory compliance related support in GA audit
• Provide all necessary support to head office RC when needed

Competence Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years' industry experience
• Holds a bachelor's degree, or equivalent
• Private bank or brokerage experience from advisory is desired
• Has the ability to work well within a matrix organization
• The ability to drill down to root cause, develop solutions, and lead process change
• Preferable for candidates with HKIB Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) professional qualification

• Experience in HKEX, SCO, SFC guidelines.
• Proven experience in handling inspections, case management, and trading rules enforcement.
• Hands-on experience in data analysis using Tableau or similar visualization platforms.
• Strong communication skills in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin
